I heard of this game through G4's E3 coverage, laughed and didn't give it another thought. Then I saw a poster for it, looked it up and picked it up. Completed the game in a few hours (~7# on Easy and have played through about half again on Normal and Hard difficulties. This is one FUN game!!! It's a fun concept, fun gameplay and fun characters! It's not what you expect, definately for mature audiences, but hilarious and just plain FUN #for lack of a better word#. Think about it... killing zombies with a chainsaw... for those of you who've played Left 4 Dead #1&2), you know the chainsaw is awesome! In Lollipop Chainsaw, the gas never runs out! It's great! For those female gamers out there who may think it's offensive/crued... it's not at all. It's hilarious and the game makes fun of itself throughout. As a female gamer, I know, the lame DOA or "jiggle" physics, this game isn't like that.

Love this game. Lollipop Chainsaw is a game that must be played to appreciate its enjoyment. It's just not possible to convey the experience in text. When is the last time you've had fun in a game? A game that makes you grin ear to ear? Once you realize that the game itself doesn't even take itself seriously, you'll have a blast. From its whacky dialog, to playing basketball by beheading zombies, to rainbows spewing from dead zombies, it's impossible to not laugh and continue hacking away for that high score, more collectables, and the next hilarious one-liner. Controls are simple with varied combos for each situation, but occasionally the camera motion is a bit clunky. The gameplay is surprisingly challenging considering it is just a hack-and-slash game. Music is one of the best I've heard recently. There are tons of tracks to be unlocked with a playlist to be able to listen to only your favorites. The game may be shorter than the Skyrims and Mass Effects, but there is tons to collect and lots of replayability in trying to acheive a high score, just like arcade games of the past. You can compete with yourself or Xbox Live gamers. Lollipop Chainsaw oozes ridiculousness and embodies the words excessive and gratuitous for an unforgettable game.

great game to play. easy to beat, but, to unlock everything you need to play for a while.
