I bought the album for one song but ended up loving the whole album! Very cohesive arrangement of songs. Definitely a new favorite band.

Bought this because I liked two of the songs that sounded similar to their fellow Australian band Wolfmother. Tame Impala has some rock songs like this but the remainder of the album is very psychedelic. Worth it if you are into this.

This is the easily the best album I've heard that's been released in 2012. I didn't know if it would be as good as Innerspeaker, but it's actually better. Tracks 1&12 are a bit different than what they bookend, but they're still great. Lonerism has more of a warped sound and shows this band is without a doubt headed in the right direction. The sound of the synthesizers on tracks like '"Music To Walk Home By" and '"Endors Toi" are absolutely brilliant and give this album an even more expansive sound. "Apocalypse Dreams" has a great change of pace to it starting out with fast keys & drums then makes a u-turn to a blissful space rock sound. "Keep On Lying" is a sneaky good track that starts out as a simple pop song then turns into a mellow groove by the end and is one of my favorites on Lonerism. Kevin Parker just has one of those great musical minds that makes you wonder what he's going to come up with next.

I love these tunes. The vocals to me, are eerily Beatlesesque. I don't mean the lyrics, I mean they way the lead singer sounds, just my opinion. My only issue, finding a copy is really difficult. I wound up finding at location that didn't show to have it online, when you click find it in store, had it on the shelf, only copy too.

So good I have been listening to it since I bought it off and on. Have not taken it out of my CD player.
