I rarely do movie reviews because honestly, everyone has their own tastes. What I will say is this is not your average rom-com. In fact I PERSONALLY wouldn't necessarily even label it as such. I can't really explain much without spoiling the story. In fact I have deleted and rewritten this next sentence several times. What I will say is if you are a fan of Seth Rogan and the type of comedies he has been in, you will like this one too. Charlize Theron is great in everything so we don't even need to discuss her! Its a fun story, funny movie, with likable characters. Definitely recommend.

Sparks fly between Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron (not something I ever imagined writing or reading.) You'll laugh and forget the film before even ejecting the tape from your VCR.

Got this at a good price. Was intrigued based on the previews and commercials. While pretty silly and far fetched, there were a number of laugh outloud moments.

You don't see as many Rom-Coms lately but this is a funny and original romantic comedy, and the actors go well together. I especially enjoyed it because it's 'Seth Rogen lite.' He's likable but not so obsessed with 3rd grade humor. Not that there isn't drug and masturbation humor, as would be typical, it's just toned down enough to be a character you cheer for. It made me like Charlize Theron more, too.
