I got this game at a really great price here. The game is surprisingly deep and fun. I'd recommend it for the price. It's nothing really ground breaking, but has some really fun elements to it.

Before my purchase I had heard it was like Dark Souls, a game I hadn't played but heard was extremely difficult and after reading reviews most people complained it wasn't as hard as it seemed to be. My conclusion is that if you aren't a hardcore Dark Souls gamer and want a challenging game that will keep you hooked, this is it. LOTF is hard enough to keep you entertained and frustrated but not to the point that its impossible, it requires thinking and tactics, the "run and gun" style will not get you very far. It's a good game not a 10 star but a good 4/5.

I challenging but rewarding game with a few glitches here and there. The gameplay, rather than the story, is what makes this game awesome.

The cover has way better graphics then the whole game does. Mouths don't match either. It's a cheap production obviously.

I'm just a few hours in (beat 3 bosses) and I'm loving this Dark Souls-esque game. I dig the many tweaks they made to the formula, such as the charging of your attacks, the organic way to change the difficulty (by the way you play it), the awesome weapons, etc. Play it and you'll know what I mean. This game is a very good one to tide me over til Bloodborne and Witcher 3 in February next year.

A fun game that requires patience as the combat can be kind of slow paced. Also the difficulty is very high.

I bought this game on a whim. It's not terrible but it's very much a ripoff of the Dark Souls franchise.
I put it down to play other, more pressing games [Dragon Age: Inquisition and Arkham Knight]. I may come back to this title at a later date but it definitely didn't have enough to keep my attention initially.

This game plays sort of like Dark Souls but is much easier aside from the huge bosses that will stomp your face in quite a few times before you defeat them.
My olnl gripe is the lack of difficulty settings. If I was able to choose the difficulty I would in order to give my first playthrough a little more longevity.

The title says it all. If you liked the dark souls series there's a good chance you will like this. It's not nearly as difficult, and the combat is not quite as refined, but it brings its own features to the table, such as its skill system.

Was not what I thought it was, great game though but just repetitive killing the bosses so I lost interest and traded it in to best buy for credit to a new pre-order 3 weeks later

All in all i would have to say i throughly enjoyed this game. Its not as harsh as Dark Souls 1 & 2 are but it still holds that same dark and ominous feel. The game itself is challenging at some points depending on how you choose to play but it is definitely worth picking up to play.
