I got these cameras to catch a mail thief. They were so easy to set up. The night vision is very clear.

This is a good, surveillance system that can be installed relatively quickly and will do what a surveillance system is supposed to do. It is best to realize up front that it is not truly wireless. The cameras still require power and that comes from standard wall outlet power. Fortunately it is low power and you only have to run a small gauge wire from a power supply plugged into the closest outlet to your camera position. It is worth thinking about your installation to determine if it is better to run a wire to an outlet or use a conventional wired system and run a wire back to the base unit. Depending on the complexity of the wiring runs to the outlets, you could be better off with a conventional wired system. These wireless systems are also relatively easy to defeat. Someone could conceivably jam the system or hack in and steal the camera feed, but both of those scenarios are highly complex and unlikely. It would be much easier to approach the camera from a blind spot and unscrew the antenna. One last shortcoming of this particular system is that it only communicates through Android and iOS phones. You cannot log in and view the cameras on a Windows computer. Still, the resolution is good, the night vision is okay and the cameras have good sensitivity to motion.

It's a really good product. The night vision is decent. It at least let's you know what's out there.

I've been using this system for over two years now and absolutely love it. Hook it up and watch. No monthly fees and the free app for my phone allows me to connect in and see what's going on while I'm on vacation.

So far this has been a great product and I have not had any problems.

Got it to watch our kids while they are doing barn chores. Thinking it would be a replacement for an intercom. And it would but there are some glitches with two way talk. Still we can watch very simply. We added a simple intercom to accommodate the voice transmission. When viewing on a cell phone the house internet connection is your weakest link.

I bought these cameras 3 years and 10 months ago. They are both (as of last week) not working. I really liked the system though as it comes with a screen that you can view live and also a good phone app that notified when there was movement. I am sad that they did not last longer than they did.

I was looking for a small security camera when I purchased this. They didn't have any of these on display, but the clerk said this was what I was looking for. The cameras are large and you can't hide them. It's very obvious what they are. The clerk assured me they were small enough to hide. I should have had him open the box, but I figured he knew what he was talking about . Now I need to see if I can find some smaller cameras that will work with this system. I don't want a whole new system because it is expensive. A waste of money.

Camera quality good, recording quality good. Remote alerts work fine, however, the remote viewing of the alert activity does not work on an I-phone. Representative at Lorex was unable to assist with getting this function to work.
