We were robbed. Had them on the video. The video was not good enough for any ID even when they looked right at the camera from 30 feet away.
Also had a problem getting a download in a format for other video programs to use. Contacted support and they were no help at all.

Not a true 1080p...and interferes 2.4-GHz WiFi...

This is a long-waited wireless surveillance system expecting to be a real 1080p. But it's not a true 1080p because the maximum frame rate per channel is only 10 frames per second, not 30 frames per second. So, the video is kind of choppy.
The night vision has some weird issues. It started as black and white video and as time goes by (about an hour later) the color changes to either purplish blue or just plain purple. It's still display the video but it's annoying.
I've encounter some problems in adjusting the camera because the provided Allen key is useless. It took me more than 30 minutes to figure it how to loosen the screw and ends up using my own tool. The provided drywall anchors are useless too. The one from the home improvement stores is a lot better.
The smartphone 'app' installation and set-up only took me 2 minutes which is really excellent.
Sometimes, I got some error messages saying 'Failed to load the video' if using the 'app', or 'Out of range' if using the TV monitor which is annoying sometimes because the distance between the camera and the wireless receiver is less than 20 feet.
This wireless system uses 2.4 GHz and it does interfere my existing WiFi network which slowed down the devices (example, tablets) when accessing the internet. To alleviate this issue, I used the 5-GHz band for my WiFi access and it did work.
This should only be '1' star after all the problems and issues that I've encountered, but I'm a bit generous because designing this thing in the wireless environment is really a challenging task and I understand the difficulty behind it. Also, my house is suited for this kind of system because running BNC cables and DC power is impossible to lay them through the house.
I still recommend this product to those who don't like to lay BNC cables and its DC power.

We had the 720 set up initially and returned that for these. Immediately better quality. Easy to set up. Simple plug n play. No running endless amounts of wiring throughout the house. Connects to the DVR wirelessly. Night vision is not good at all. These cameras during the day are great but don't expect that zoom features will be beneficial because they won't be. I am disappointed with it displaying certain colors during the day. Doesn't seem to pick up green grass. Makes it more Brown like. Haven't called Lorex yet on this but plan to. I am running into signal loses. But when it's lost it's just a second or so, so in the long run it will still capture what I need. The signal seems to go out periodically on my two camera that face the front of the house. Apparently brick and walls and distance is a great factor in these cameras staying in range all the time. Still working on trying to figure out how to fix that problem. Will be asking Lorex. Great product despite a few minor issues. No printed instructions so be ready to hunt up the PDF online. Takes a bit of time to figure out the DVR functions and settings...but then again what new device doesn't.

This camera system is super easy to set up. Daytime pictures are excellent. Pictures at night are good also even though in black and white.

Overall I’m happy with the cameras, but the power cords are shorter than desired. The optional App that is supposed to let you view from your device is a waste of time. If you want to view from your phone, you may want to consider an alternative.

Wires aren't very long and night vision isn't very clear unless there is a light on which defeats the purpose.

The cameras were relatively easy to install. What got my attention to purchase this system was the mobile app capability. I was very disappointed that I could not access the cameras through my Android app. I could, however, access through my iPad, but I do not carry this device with me on a daily basis. After many attempts to "fix" the access, I decided to return the system and go with a more mobile-friendly system. Although the new system cost me twice as much, I do not regret it. The mobility of checking what is going on in my home is important. The Lorex system has great potential, but it really could use some better upgrades to the mobile app.

To start every setting for picture quality(720,1080, etc.) all look about the same, could bearly tell it is me in the camera from 20ft away(will not be useful to get a licens plate number. Only have 1 camera outside & it lost 95% of color(displays almost all black and white during the day)within 2 weeks. Wireless function worked to outside camera from 40ft thru 1 wall then moved 15ft farther to another room and would not get a signal(thru standard drywall & stud walls). Dropped signal to 2 of the cameras in house & they were almost in a direct path to system 25ft away. 1 of the cameras had loose internals. System comes with a alen wrench that is not the right size for the adjustment screws(recommend getting alen that fits properly to avoid striping). I guess u get what pay for. I should have spent more for higher quailty. Lower price point lower quality. Like haveing A/C power as to not need to replace batteries. About 8ft cord on camera.

One of my cameras will not work unless inside the house. The other camera will stop transmitting from time to time. My house is a small rectangle 40 b 24 feet. The box and transmitter are in the middle of the house, it should receive all cameras with no problems.

Good camera system for the money! I like the cameras being Wifi. Real easy to setup. The only hard part was having to wire electrical outlets in the areas where I wanted to put the cameras, however that was because I am a DIY type of person. Overall I recommend.

It's a nice picture and easy to use setup but the cord for the power wire is way too short approx 6' and the wireless receiver has a short cord as well, for the price I paid, they should have included extensions for them

I purchased this system with some doubt after reading reviews but decided to go with it since it was on clearance and a great deal. Install went well, instructions were minimal but got it working, customer service is outsourced to India and wait times were 4 hours the first time I tried and 3 hours the second time ( they call you back) my problem was with the phone app but the lady who helped me knew the issue and solved it. ( no matter what you choose for your own password, you still only use the 6 digits that the default used) other then that the system works well
