Very clear picture and motion light to deter people is great. The color night vision is beter than most cameras from other manufacturers

I needed a quick replacement from a q-see 1080p system. I originally went with Reolink 4k, but app was buggy. Lorex app is easy to use. I'm still figuring out the motion detection (sensitivity), too many trees creating false alerts. Came with 4 cameras, I like when the led's turn on at night when motion is detected. Overall, a great system.

The whole set up was quite easy, i am amazed by the video quality to be honest! definitely worth the money in my opinion!

The picture quality is good for day time and night time but good luck trying to get plates because once you zoom in the quality sucks. Also they need to work on the app. I wish there was a "stay logged in" option so I don't have to keep singing in whenever I want to see it .. especially if you're in a hurry or in case of emergency singing in is too time consuming. Other than that it's a good camera.

After using for a few months I can now give a better review. Overall this gets the job done but it takes some work to get things right. My biggest complaint is that setup has to be done via a monitor hooked up to the dvr box. There is little to no options available in the mobile app. So if you’re like me and do not have the monitor hooked up all the time, you have to pull that back out and hook it up again to make any settings adjustments. After a few rounds of that, settings are good for the most part. Sensitivity was an issue in the beginning. Still is occasionally. Where I’ll get alerts that are just bugs flying by the camera. I love being hardwired in with Ethernet and my alerts are sent to my phone fairly quickly. To sum it up, don’t expect this to work perfectly right out of the box. Be prepared for more setup than a simple Ring camera or the like. But if no monthly fees and a some DIY is up your alley, then I would recommend this to you.

These cameras are the real deal! They’re motion detectors that not only tell us when there’s movement but also have spotlights and tell us whether the movement is a vehicle or a person. The app also allows us to speak with who’s out there and sound an alarm. They do everything we would want them to do and more. We’re having fun with them. The picture quality is great too!
