    I purchased this system on 09/28/16 with high expectations of a quality camera system. After installing I found two cameras to be defective after troubleshooting with Lorex Tech. Support. Two new replacement cameras were suppose to be sent out under warranty as of 10/04/16. It's now been 24 days and I have yet to receive the replacement cameras. On 10/10/16 I also submitted a Tech. support Ticket for a defective arrow selection button. I have yet to hear from Tech Support for this issue. I am very disappointed in the system and with Lorex Tech. Support. I am considering returning the system to Best Buy for a refund. DL

    Great product for a month

    I was thrilled with this product for a month. Although not perfect, the rapid recap feature was very nice. I used it almost every day for a quick view of the front door activity. Unfortunately, when the 30 day free trial ended, the rapid recap didn't work any more. I was unable to purchase a subscription on their website because it kept freezing. Phone calls are not answered and requests for help we're ignored. A month later I was finally able to purchase a subscription only to find out that the rapid recap function doesn't work. Again, calls unanswered, requests for help ignored. I wish I had purchased an Arlo system. Don't make same mistake as me.

    DON'T Buy from LOREX or FLIR

    Don't buy from LORES or FLIR. The unit was defected and damaged. The technical support person was rude! We had to spent hours on the phone with them with no solutions. Never ever again. Shop at others like Nest or Google.

    Good Cameras

    Worst in customer support, dont know what phone number to call, chat is always busy and assures a session shortly...chat session .never comes up. Flir Software to watch the cameras remotely on your computer is free only for 30 days, after that you have to pay subscription.

    I recently purchased a LOREX system on 9 September 2018. The product itself is ok however one of the 60ft cables i received was damaged I tried to fix it in lieu of going through the hassle of getting a replacement but in the end i had to call in to LOREX for a replacement. I submitted pictures of the cable, reciept, model number etc. To make a long story short after all my submissions 10 days later and my third follow up call LOREX still had not sent me a replacement cable and was still requesting information on what type of cable i needed to replace. My question is LOREX don't YOU know what products you are selling? I even went as far as sending a picture of the box with the illustration of what was included to the technical team. I am so dissatisfied i just wasnt to rip the entire system out of my house i have been waiting 10 days now to finish the installation of my security system. I have holes in my walls and unfinished work because I am waiting on one cable. The support is poor and for such an expensive product i was expecting better service

    i purchased a lorex unit and within 3 years the DRV is not working properly. We are going to replace the fan. overheating the company is of no help. they don't sell parts my opinion a unit that cost $400.00 should last longer.

    The recording quality and playback abilities make this a Great addition to anywhere you need Surveillance. I use this around my home and it is everything I could hope for.

    Excellent security system

    Didn't have any idea which brand to purchase when I looked in the BB store, but once I got this one home, downloaded the latest software, connected the cameras and had it up and running it was clear I selected the best system at the price point. The IOS app works great, too.

    Lorex does not support it's products long term

    I purchased a Lorex systems a number of years ago. While I understand that it's been quite a few years and I don't expect to get lifetime customer support, Lorex decided to stop supporting remote viewing of my camera system. A month ago I was able to log in and view the cameras. Now I can't. Lorex said they no longer will support remote viewing of my system. I will never buy a Lorex product again. Stick with Nest or Ring. You know the system will be supported.

    Cannot view cameras from mobile phone!

    I purchased a LNR 380 system. Worked for a few years. Lorex deleted the app that allowed me to view my cameras remotely. No replacement app so my system is useless. Several call back promises from tech support but calls. I would not recommend Flir or Lorex systems. Very frustrated..

    LOREX camera bad technical support

    I brought a LOREX camera system and everything worked fine until LOREX pushed out a firmware update which brought down my whole system. I had a hard time contacting technical support and when I finally did they told me to but a new one. The system I have is less than a year old and I paid a lot of money for it,

    Camera hard drive breaks after 1 yr and 1/2. Customer service really bad transfers and hangs up. They up their system and warranty purchased through customer service could be tracked and the threw burden of proof on me. Waste of hard earned money.
