The picture quality on this system was extremely clear compared to my old 720p system. The setup was pretty simple and straight forward.

Decent camera system. I do not like the way the lights come on as a “warning”. They are constantly turning on and off, even though I have lowered the motion sensitivity to the lowest setting, and adjusted the motion zones to exclude most of the viewing range. It should really be a feature you can turn off. Sound quality is terrible. It just sounds like a bunch of echoing. Picture quality is good.

Great system to buy easy to install in the home or outside. Easy to understand setup and controls. The night vision view is great. My only downside is that you can’t turn off the LED spotlights for motion. I have a lot area and the spotlights are very bright and can reflex off glass so be aware of camera placement.

This camera system is a replacement to a recently bought Arlo Ultra 4 camera set that just would not work correctly so it got returned to Best Buy about a month after purchase. The Lorex system is sturdier, and has worked without a glitch since the day it has been turned on. Everything works as expected without the need to have an overpriced monthly subscription to view your own videos at the high quality the cameras are capable of capturing. The system is wired, so I did have to route ethernet cables through the attic to get this to work, but it beats being frustrated for spending almost $1000 on a wireless system that constantly drops out of the network, fails to reconnect and is in constant need recharging (yes, I'm throwing rocks at Arlo Ultra... they had such high promise...). Anyways, here are pros and cons: PROS: Sturdy and High Quality Materials Record 24/7 without ever recharging Video Capture at 4K is impressive Technical support is excellent CONS: Software is very extensive, but a proper manual for it does not exist. (they have a manual for a general app that looks like the one they provided, but very many of the images in the manual show a user interface that is different enough for many of the setting screens to make even a computer savvy person like me not be able to follow the instructions)

Pretty awesome cameras. However the HD is a little noisy but not unbearable. Highly recommend.

Easy set up. Very clear picture. Notifications come fast. Don’t have to pay for a subscriptions.

I like the quality and the range of the camera. Its really easy to hook up yourself.

Great cameras. Had a new construction home and ran the wires before the walls were put up. Simple to use. App was a little confusing but I think it was more a router issue then the cameras themselves. If you have the chance to hard wire cameras I would definitely recommend these. Picture is great and love the spot light feature.

First, it doesn’t have night vision. Second, it doesn’t have the easiest control of the motion detecting and detection zones. On the plus, it is POE which I like. It does have pretty decent picture quality. The WiFi connection is good and works well on the app.

Fantastic product. I upgraded from an older Lorex product that had been up for years- and still working - only because I wanted the additional camera quality and two way audio option. I was so pleased with this product I replaced my doorbell system with the Lorex doorbell as well.

Does not deliver as promised. Easy to setup and install but can’t tell the difference between a person or a shadow or animal. Get a lot of false alerts. Supplemental items such as doorbell camera bracket that should be included are extremely expensive or out of stock. I do like the quality of the image and the fact you don’t need power to the cameras but after using the system and dealing with the company I feel that there were better options available from other companies.

Top quality security camera system. Contains all hardware needed. Had professional installer locate cameras and set up NVR recorder & smart phone AP. Would recommend for anyone wanting more security around your home or business.

The hdd is too small and there isnt a spot for a KB. When backing up recordings it does not seem to read above 5xx GB for your usb device. Other than that it has worked well for me and the setup was not hard. Very clear video.

this system is by the best is all i can say, easy, has night color vision, two way talk, siren, flood light and 4k! so when at work you can see and talk to your loved ones in crisp clear video.... it's absolutely a must for home security.

Works great! Bought to replace another brand Surveillance System that had a hard drive crash after about 5 or 6 years. The Lorex produces much higher quality videos than the previous system and is a lot easier to use.

I like the fact that this doesn't require a subscription or a cloud base platform. Easy to use and install. Did have a headache navigating and installing the wired connection but in the long run for me it was worth it. Oscar
