    Good quality, great night vision and even has color night vision, works great buy I udo have a lot of ambient light around my house at night,

    Lorex support and Warranty is entirely and completely worthless. , On two separate occasions during the last year, with the same surveillance system failed. Both occasions Lorex refused to abide by their warranty. Best Buy's customer support manage immediately replaced the unit the first time under their extended warranty. I now have to take it back to Best Buy for it to be replaced again, for the second time. The claims for the resolution as shown by their pictures is entirely and completely false. The night vision distance positively is not the distance claimed by Lorex. The color night vision on two cameras is black and white One camera at night does not function unless additional light is supplied by a small flood light. The highest overall rating in regards to quality of product, which entails resolution and actual functions of the Lorex NVR is junk. Their Lorex NVR inclusive of the warranty is worthless to the point I am writing to Best Buy CEO, because their Lorex product gives Best Buy a bad reputation as to quality of products Best Buy sells.

      We are sorry to hear about your concern and that this product did not meet your expectations. We test all components such as cables, power adapters, cameras, dvr etc. with the final hardware equipment to ensure they are working up to the required and marketed specifications including for night vision. Please note that the night vision distance is dependent on multiple factors including environmental. Please also note that color night vision requires supplementary ambient lighting to maintain the minimum light level otherwise the camera will go into black and white night vision.
