Lost Highway is the movie that made me a fan of David Lynch. Until now I have only had a poor quality DVD. When this disc was about to come out, Lynch tweeted that they didn't use the original camera negative for the transfer. Turns out, Kino Lorber tried to work with him on that but he ghosted them. KL managed to find a fairly decent source for the transfer. The only weirdness I spotted was during the opening credits. There's a black bar on the left of the screen which goes away after that. Anyway, I'm happy to have a much improved version of this movie.

It’s like two different movies in one. But it all ends up tied together. Robert Blake has a role before his famous incident. Patricia Arquette is excellent. Worth checking out without going into too much detail. You have to see for yourself!

If you like scary movies, this is a great movie for you

Another winner from David Lynch. The non-linear storytelling feels almost like a dry run for MULHOLLAND DRIVE. As always, gorgeous cinematography and his use of sound is mesmerizing. Highly recommended.

Another great film from the master. A film that leaves you wanting to watch it again and again to unravel the mystery. Great soundtrack too!!! I've been waiting for the Blu-ray, saw it way back in 1997.

It's so great to finally have a domestic Blu-ray for one of David Lynch's best films!

The first 10 mins will absolutely suck you in and then it's down the rabbit hole you go. David Lynch is known for his trippy work but this might be one of my favorites especially after you read peoples different takes on it. If your someone with little patience and not open minded this movie is not for you. Turn the lights off, get rid of all distractions and enjoy. Get ready cause its a head trip.

Lynch masterpiece ... total mind bender with compelling writing and arresting visuals ... masterful use of shadows in this one... if there's an HDR release available, skip this DVD and go straight for the good stuff

An amazing cult classic with an epic cast! If you are looking for a thriller/mystery movie this is definitely it! Amazing movie soundtrack by Rammstein, Smashing Pumpkins, Marilyn Manson and David Bowie!!

I was weird when I was younger, and it still is. If you're a Lynch fan, pick it up. You know what to expect.

David Lynch makes the coolest, other worldly, esoteric movies.

This is a classic. You can't go wrong with this one.

Not Lynch's best, but worth worth a view. Mulhulland Drive, Blue Velvet and Eraserhead are still better films in my opinion.

Too dark/bleak for my taste. Also audio was very low. The picture quality/cinematography was quite nice. But that can not save this dreadful/soulless film.

As a movie collector, this is one of my all time favorites. I've seen it many times and it gets better every time. However, this movie's not for everyone. If you've ever seen Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, or any other David Lynch film, then you'll understand and respect this film. If you're not familiar with his work, it's very artistic and brilliant. Some people find this film somewhat confusing, even I did the first time. It's the kind of movie you have to watch more than once to understand and appreciate its complexity and artistic value. If you're not familiar with David Lynch or any of his movies, the closest films I can compare it to would be Donnie Darko and S. Darko. If you haven't seen those, then you just need to buy all three, because you're missing out on some amazing movies. Lost Highway is a one of a kind classic! Even the soundtrack was great, it was produced by Trent Reznor (NIN.) I highly recommend this movie! Once you watch it, you'll be thinking about it for days, and you'll probably want to watch it again! BUY IT!!!

So this movie is pretty neat-o, and it's fairly inexpensive at BestBuy.com, which, incidentally, is about the only place you can find it these days. I believe you should purchase this movie for yourself, a friend, or a relative.
