Great special effects and good story line. Am enjoying this season very much.

Netflix's gem that more should know about!!! So much better than the 1997 movie starring Matt Le Blanc. The story shifts to a female "Dr. Smith" which is a perfect fit.

I don't have Netflix, but I'd read some positive reviews in the media and decided to give it a shot. This program really is worth watching! The show is loosely based on the original with a similar story line. All the names are the same but the real change is that Dr. Smith is now a woman played by Parker Posey. She does an excellent job. The robot is now of alien origin and it's not just one Jupiter 2, but many attached to a large mother ship. Everything is updated. It's worth it to give it a watch!

I viewed this on Netflix over a year ago. I really liked it. It is family friendly. The story does not go the way you would think it does= it has a couple of twists to it. All of the actors do a good job. The relationship between the doctor and Will Robinson is central to the story, as well as the robot and Will does too. The special effects are really good too. Each episode keeps you wondering how things will work out for the Robinson family. If you like science fiction you might like this one.

Having grown up to the original show and also seen the previous movie version, the Lost in Space continues the survivor idea very well and always entertaining. I like the Robot is this one and the actors are all great in this show, even the youngest one playing Will. I like the flash backs that add and extra bit of understanding. The whole family are very head strong that in this setting is a requirement.

I was a huge fan of the original series because it's what I grew up with as a kid. The late 90's movie wasn't that great, so I approached this with some skepticism. They keep the same basic story line, and the character names are the same, but it truly is a re-imagining of the story. Very cool. Good acting, good effects.

I loved this show on Netflix and have watched it multiple times. I don't buy a lot of DVDs or Blu-ray discs but this is one I had to own. The inclusion of the never aired pilot episode of the original series is a bonus. Well worth the purchase.

Great special effects make this seem more like a movie than a TV show. Not your old "Lost in Space", though! Character roles kind of turned on their heads with dysfunctional families and surprises galore. Kind of slow, building, brooding tension reminiscent of the newer version of Battlestar Galactica -- a new twist coming with each episode.

terrific new version of the classic 60's series. The BD delivers exceptional sound and video quality. plus you get a remastered colorized version of Irwin Allen's original pilot episode for the 60's series that never aired.

Great series. Hopefully they do a season 2. I hated the Dr. Smith character after watching her the first 30 minutes, and hope she gets killed off. Just too evil for me.

I love the series, being that i didnt miss many episodes of the classic series, love the scenery, wardrobe and prop design, interesting twist to the original series.

A revamped telling of the exploits of the Robinson family and attempt to colonize Alpha Centuri. Updated, and grittier than the 1960’s series. Very interested to see where season 2 take me. Good watch!

This is a decent reboot of the series. Enough changes to make it worth watching for new or old fans. This version is more serious than the original.

This is a great series to watch. Story line is great. Acting great. I like the way they have changed Lost in Space from the early series of years ago.

This last in the space season there's actually a really good season for lost in space it follows a unique story line and is well worth watching

Season 1 of the "New" Lost in Space is awesome! The Blu-ray contains a bonus colorized version of the original 60's TV show unaired pilot. Way cool!

I was pleasantly surprised about this Netflix series. It is really good and the story isn't blindingly following the original series.

Not quit the 60s version, but this is for the Next Generation, so I'll go along with the enhanced, far from cheesy special effects.
