Just what we needed for hiking

After reading countless reviews on many varieties of camera backpacks, this was the one we ordered. Plenty of space for newer photographers with anywhere from one to a few lenses. We definitely have room to accommodate new lenses and accessories. There is space for additional hiking necessities, however not enough to be an all-in-one solution. The design of the weatherproof cover and tripod support is well thought-out. We would buy again and definitely recommend this backpack!

I purchased this pack because I always have my telephoto mounted on my base. I love its versatility and the safety of it opening from the back as opposed to the front. Even better, Best Buy honored their price match guarantee!

What can I say:
Pros:
great padding and back support, high quality materials, ykk zippers, raincover, light and even though it doesnt look so big it has enormous space.
this bag would be perfect only it had a small laptop and tablet copartment. too bad. but except that it is the best around price/performance wise.

Solid Bag!

Great bag for someone hauling 1-2 DSLR bodies, 3-4 lenses, flash, etc. Right now it holds my 7D with 70-200 2.8, 24-105, 17-40, 50 1.8, 1.4 extender and a speedlite, and I have room for more gear! I also ordered the Flipside 300 and it didn't seem big enough if I wanted to buy another body or additional lenses down the road. The 400 seems like a very solid bag for the price.
