Customers appreciate the Passport Sling III Camera Case's size, comfort, and ample storage, citing its many pockets and ability to carry various camera equipment and personal items. Many found the bag lightweight and stylish, suitable for everyday use. However, some customers wished for more padding, particularly on the bottom and sides of the bag. Went to Thailand for a couple weeks. The main mode of travel there on the island of Koh Tao was a scooter and the Sling was perfect for carrying camera, extra lense and flash as well as other essentials such as passport and money.

This is a nice looking camera bag that doesn't scream "camera bag." I like that it is not obvious. I really like that the strap can be resized quickly. I'm able to where it up over my shoulder, close to my body or make the strap very long to wear it cross-body style for a hand-free feel while shooting.
I like the interior zippered pocket for storing very small accessories like memory cards and lens cleaners. The outside of the bag is encircled with pockets which are just open slide-in style pockets. Nice for throwing a lens cap in quickly but since the bag is not stiff, it is soft and floppy, I think that things will slip out of these exterior pockets easily if the bag is picked up and set down a lot.
The overall size works well for me. I am able to fit my Canon 5D Mark II with a battery grip and long lens in the open part of the bag. I then use the padded removable insert for my other lenses, flash and small accessories.
The big but comes into it with the larger open space where I stored my camera. Outside of the removable padded insert, there is no padding anywhere else in the bag. A smaller camera or camera without the battery grip might fit within the customizable padded insert itself which would make it an overall great bag. I just wish the entire bag was padded.
The first day I used the bag, I shattered my lens filter on the lens attached to the camera after the bag bumped up against a door frame. I was carrying the bag over my shoulder. I am happy it was the filter that took the brunt of the impact but I think it could have been prevented if the bag had a bit of padding itself.
I will definitely keep using this bag but I will reconfigure how I place my camera with attached lens in the bag.

I wanted an easy to carry bag for my camera, lenses and tablet. After researching on line and having used an early iteration "sling-type" bag in the past I decided on this Lowepro Passport III. There is a movable padded compartment that I placed my DSLR, two zoom lenses, spare battery and charger, two LED flashlights, cell phone and tablet charger, cellphone power pack, lens cleaning gear, pens, mobile Hot Spot Jet Pak and more! My only caveat is that it is not truely water repellant, but there is Rustoleum Never Wet to take care of that issue. Even loaded, this sling is comfortable to carry and allows FAST & EASY access to my camera and gear. There is more room in this Passport Sling bag and there is a zipper that allows compartment expansion.
With all that gear (kit), the sling goes through airport check points and fits beneath the seat on a plane. Great value. BTW, the Sales Person was knowledgeable and very helpful at Boca, store #554.

Perfect for international travel, spacious, practical and can carry an assortment of items including personal items. The previous bag I owned was too bulky and did not hold as many items. Stylish enough to look like a large handbag/carryon. Will be traveling to India and Europe with it.

Easy to get in & out of. Could use a few more padded dividers so you can arrange in away that works best for you. I pulled some from older bags and I love my arrangement in my bag. Light weight & comfortable to catry.

One complaint with this item is that it is not weather sealed and does not come with a cover like some other lowepro camera bags do. However, I was able to use the bag in the rain while I walked around DC and my camera and other items did not get wet. While it managed to keep everything dry, I would've liked the extra comfort knowing it was weather proof. My other complaint is that the pockets on the outside do not zip closed. While this allowed for quick access to some things I felt like I needed to put more valuable items inside to make sure that they didn't fall out or get stolen (crowded New York street) and also to keep them dry. With that being said, the bag is light and comfortable to wear while walking around all day which is very important in a bag especially if you will be out for long periods of time. The bag also sufficiently held my Panasonic fz1000 superzoom camera (not a small camera) and accessories as well as other personal items like cell phone etc. Overall a good bag for anyone who wants to pack a small camera kit and personal accessories while walking around. The bag is best suited for favorable conditions and can endure some light rain so if you're looking for something that you can carry out into heavy rainstorm then look elsewhere. Otherwise, highly recommended if you're looking for a sling bag and will be using the bag for what it was built for.

Cant complain the bag is made from durable material. It has an expander which came handy for me in the airplane and airport travel. It can be the purse and camera bag. I wish the outside pockets (some of them) closed (zipper seal) but they are good to hold umbrella etc minor thing you wouldnt mind gettiing stolen if your in a pickpocket happy area. Good to use to hold water bottle and small umbrella on the outside and other knick knacks. Good bag over all to carry and handle my camera and extra light equipment with compartments and soft compartments to protect camera I think it could use an extra pad or two but if you have any other camera equipment Im sure you have extra dmall pads you can easily just add to the bag if you want that extra protection or odd shape item. Great bad I would recommend to anyone. I love the cross over its closer to my body.

As a Type 1 diabetic, my son actually uses the bag for his diabetes supplies. Other diabetes bags he's had were just not quite big enough. He prefers the sling style and it's just big enough to hold everything he needs to carry.

This has enough room for my camera, 3 lens, cords, plus more. The pockets on the outside are great for placing my lens when I'm shooting photos, which makes it easy to change lens without having to open cases, etc.

I spent a week deciding which bag to get, got the backpack kind first then returned it. I took this bag all over the Caribbean for a week and it worked out like a champ, I even walked 6 miles with it one day. The camera is easy to get out with this bag, the front part holds my big water bottle easily and there is lots of good space without being bulky or making yourself a target with an obvious camera backpack.

The bag fits my DSLR camera with its lens attached real well, also space for extra batteries, charger, etc. still room for keys, wallet...outside there are additional pockets and I use the one for a water bottle! The only drawback I found is that it's not as easy to carry on the run as I was hoping. It's a little heavy and floppy for when you have to run after the action, but otherwise it's a great bag!

So glad I code this one. Fits my d7000 with kit lens, my 50mm and 85mm or the kit and my zoom. Also secure net zipper for the little things like remote, cards and filters.

I love this bag. After going on vacation and struggling to get my camera in and out of my old bag I went on a search for a better bag and found this one. The style is great and comfortable. I am not a professional photographer by any means but this fits my camera and lens with plenty of room for my keys/sunglasses, etc. It is very easy to get my bag in and out and it is padded so I feel it is secure.

I have a bad back and I cant wear anything to carry stuff unless its cross body. This sling pack is so comfortable and it really distributes the weight evenly. I can carry all of my camera items as well as my tablet or laptop, which allows me to do all of my shooting and uploading at the same time. Lowepro makes great stuff and this is nothing short of what Ive come to expect from them.

Well i'm sure if you have gotten to my review, you have read others. I do use this bag as my general use photography bag but it does have flaws. The main one being its removable padded insert. First off, it will fit your camera with a short lens attached i'd say primes would fit but if you have a zoom attached you're no go. There are times i go out shooting and at some point want to put my camera in the bag to do other things, there have been a few times i had my Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8d attached which is a rather large lens, when i go to put it in the bag the camera body and about half the lens will fit in the insert, the other half of the lens will be hanging over the insert 'wall' and smash it down, though admittedly there are no claims to be able to do this but with all the room in the bag i would think including an bigger insert would be more practical. As is, the insert is sized a little less than half the entire size of the interior. The rest of the interior has a very light padding on the bottom and that's it, no velcro, not sections, nothing, just poorly padded space. So when i want to bring spare lenses i am responsible for padding them myself or otherwise securing them so they don't bang into each other or the hard ground- DON'T throw this bag around with gear inside, the padding is not good enough for that.
Another huge flaw is that when you don't have a camera body in the insert, it will not hold its shape and it will kind of fold flat so that when you go to open the bag everything is squished side to side and it's just annoying getting to your gear when the bag does this. On top of that, only one velcro strip holds in insert in place and it constantly comes loose of it. It won't go flying from one end of the bag to the other- unless you are swinging it like a helicopter, but it's still annoying if you have other things in there.
The pros are that the interior is large and if you can rig up a way to secure lenses it is nice to have a bag you can dip into without taking off most of the time. It is also fairly low key in black.
In conclusion it is a shame this bag has so many flaws, it had so much potential and as i'm writing this i'm realizing that is just really isn't designed well. It's as if someone made a sketch and it went into production without any actual testing and it's a shame. The bag in general is made well and it is rather spacious inside and that is why i continue to use it despite everything. I want to love it, but it is like a really rotten child, it makes it hard.

This bag is very light weight which was very important to me, as I have neck issues. I have the Canon SL1 because of its light weight. I can easily fit this camera, my long lens (if I choose to carry that weight), battery charger, etc. There are padded dividers for numerous configurations inside the bag, as well as a couple of pockets on the outside for a phone, etc.
