I have owned theToploader Zoom 55 AW model from LowePro for 2.5 years and it has served well. Lately I have been taking a lot of pictures at soccer matches of my son :) That means that my main lens is the Tamron 70-200. The only way for me to carry it with me was to have it in a separate lens case attached to the side of the 55 model. That was ok but it really added to the bulk and wasn't always convenient if I needed to put the camera away for any time at all because I would have to swap lenses, put the 70-200 into its case, put the other lens on the K-5, and then put the K-5 into the 55 bag. This season I've been wanting to carry less gear and when I saw the recent sale at BestBuy on LowePro gear I took a look (when don't I take a look at photo gear on sale? ;) ). The ad said that the 75 would take a dSLR, Grip, and 70-200 - sounded perfect. I ordered it and BestBuy took a week to simply put it in the mail but it arrived in good shape. First the improvements over the older 55 model: [*]It is much longer and more of a wedge shape. [*]The outside pocket actually has some padding. [*]The strap that came with it is NOT a throw away like most other camera bags - it's actually rather long with a good pad and metal fasteners [*]The top is side opening with loop pulls for the zippers. [*]The top has a plastic quick buckle to secure it without having to zip and unzip. [*]It has several outside open top pockets, including a small one on the front for a pen or lens pen and one on the side that is the width of the bag [*]It has a pocket on the outside of the top (the 55 and other older ones have one on the inside) that has a mesh retainer and two SD card slots with velcro closures [*]It has a Chest Harness system with a side belt to stabilize the bag and multiple attachment points to wear it with a chest harness or utility belt/vest [*]Longer Velcro on the interior makes adjusting the dividers more flexible than older models [*]Metal, instead of plastic, D-ring attachment points Parts that are similar to the 55 that were retained and are good: [*]SlipLock attachment point on the side for another bag, case, etc. [*]High quality construction [*]360 degree All Weather AW Cover housed in a built in pocket on the side of the case [*]Well constructed and high quality zippers What I don't like about it: [*]Nearly zero padding on the bottom of the case [*]Pull on the top pocket can be confused with the pull for the zipper that opens the whole top (color coding them would help) Overall, this is a much better designed and implemented case than the Toploader 55 AW. This one is labeled "Pro" and that must be why this has so many more features and upgraded hardware over the standard line. This case cost me $55 on sale and the 55AW cost $40 on sale 2.5 years ago ($50 these days at Amazon). The difference is drastic between the two and the extra money well worth it IMHO. The case sits well in a sling configuration with the strap over one shoulder and the case on the opposite hip. The enclosed strap is well made, has metal hardware, is long enough for me at 6'3", and has a nice (if simple) slide pad. I have not used the cross body stabilizer strap but it is also fairly long and has a built in attachment point (that does not flop around when not in use) on the main strap. The bottom two D-rings are in semi-recessed pockets and are also out of the way (but they are plastic). Overall, this bag strikes me as having had a LOT more thought put into all aspects of its design. As I said above, the only real mistake IMHO is the nearly complete lack of padding on the bottom of the bag. I added some foam under the bottom velcro shelf and that has done the trick for me in the past with my 55AW so it ought to work just fine on this bag too. No bag is perfect, as evidenced by my hoard of bags, but this one comes closer than any of my other K-5 bags to date. If LowePro would just stop under-padding the bottoms of their bags they'd get a 10 from me.

Love the bag - just fits my D700 and 70-200 VRII . Would recommend this bag I ordered on line and my Beef was the VERY POOR Service I received when I picked the item up . Worse service I've ever had Period!!! Lame excuses, Long waits . Dude did not know the first thing about Customer Service !! Was so upsetting this made my purchase experience almost regretful . Asked to speak with Manager and never happened . Hopefully this was isolated occurrence . I'm still waiting for someone from Best Buy to contact me about this - probably won't happen

You can't beat this camera case for easy access to your camera. I love the extra long shoulder strap and the ability to attach additional lens cases for multiple capacity. This case fits everything I need and is extremely well made.

Almost seems to be made for my camera. There is room to spare for small extras. I think it has about 2 inches to spare for a longer lens. Just the right amount of gadget space and pockets.
