Bought this bag as an alternative to my larger Mono Kondensor (great company/warranty, btw) and large messenger, for the sake of trimming down when at airports/conferences. For my use, the size is nearly perfect. I don’t knock people/stuff over so easily anymore. :D
I can fit my Surface Pro (w/ UAG case, so double-thick,) Nintendo Switch in a slim case, Sony 1000x headphones in their case, some pens/cards/etc, small knife, AirPods, and MX Anywhere mouse in the main pocket. The over-ear headphones are a bit of a greedy addition, but noise-cancelling makes working in public so much easier.
Then the bottom slide-out is great for things I won’t use as often. It’s just big enough for all my cables/plugs: Surface charger, official Switch charger, small battery bank, ~5 different cables, and probably something else I’m forgetting.
Mind you, this fills the bag pretty much to capacity, though there is room for an iPad Mini or Kindle without a case, and a sunglass pocket.
-side note: I usually keep a clipboard with me, but that won’t fit length-wise without expanding the main pocket into the “charger garage.”
On to construction: Its comfortable and well designed. The laptop slot is about an ideal size for a MacBook 15in. This compartment is also raised from the bottom of the bag, which is unfortunately quite the rare feature. This means when your bag plops down, there’s more than a couple of thin layers of fabric to break the fall. There is a small felt-lined pocket at the top , which is nice for delicate things like sunglasses, but know that it’s a soft pocket, so they can still be crushed. Overall, the backpack is quite light and feels well built with good materials, but still doesn’t exactly feel super durable. Doesn’t feel fragile; just doesn’t feel beefy either. Only time will tell, I guess.
-I pack a little heavy day-to-day, and most people don’t discuss true pack rat level bag usage in their reviews, so I thought this might be helpful to some.

I like the bag for the sake of functionality. It is pretty spacious to use as a camera bag if you don’t have too many additional lenses. You’ll be able to put the body and a small lens in the bottom compartment, a laptop in the sleeve, and additional accessories in the body of the bag. The bottom compartment divider is also removable, so You have the option of expanding the main compartment. The quality isn’t great for the price point. I have only had it about a month and the seams are already fraying. I see a substantial amount of loose threads. I’ve maybe used it about 5 times for gigs and it has sat in my closet otherwise. It feels flimsy and the material won’t last, I can tell this early on. I got it in a time crunch and it seemed like the best option in terms of functionality and aesthetic. I’d value this at $50 tops though. It’s much too much money for the quality of material and durability.

I traveled to Europe this summer and this backpack was ideal for carrying my laptop and camera. I found the bag to be light and easy to travel with. It is small enough that I had no problem in carrying it on the plane and buses.

The laptop compartment fits my 15” MacBook Pro perfectly. It’s well padded to keep it protected. The larger compartment fits quite a bit of extra stuff like cables and power brick. The extra cubby at the bottom has the removable smaller pack which fits my tools nicely. I didn’t know this when I bought the pack but if you want to keep the smaller pack separate, you can open up the middle shelf and expand it downward for extra room. Also, it doesn’t hurt my shoulders.

This is the most useful bag I have ever used for carrying a video camera. The pull out bag is great if you don't want to carry the whole back pack or if you want you can use it as just a back pack. More than enough room for everything and my wife doesn't need to also carry a purse. Brilliant!

I had a small out of state wedding that i was doing photography for before my family vacation in Europe. i needed a light and compact travel bag for my camera that had enough space, and various pockets to keep my gear and personal items safe, secure and hidden. This was the best purchase decision i ever made. i was able to fit my camera, lens, SD cards, and other various items. I was also able to roll up and pack an extra set of clothes in the bottom compartment and basic toiletries in case my travel bag got lost at some point during my flight connection.
Highly recommend!

I like this unit for easy of use for field photography. I do carry a large 150-600mm zoom lens for wildlife and a 28-200 lens for normal shots and this carries what I need easily with a separate access so I can get to my 600mm easily when needed.

Got this backpack for my husband because he was always carrying a bigger and heavier bag, and he loved it. It's small, big enough for his 17" laptop and the small case is perfect for all of his wires.
