  • A Delightfully Complex Movie….

    I originally saw this movie in a theater, somewhat, by accident. I was pleasantly surprised how the writer and director seamlessly marry several complex social issues into one coherent narrative. This movie keeps you intellectual simulated by building layer upon layer of issues. I am happy to say I saw this in a theater and own it on disc. I would have preferred Blu-ray, but hey, what can you do?

    This isn't your typical thriller. It tells the story of luce who is adopted by a well to do family. He finds himself at odds with his teacher an incredibile Octavia Spencer. Kelvin Harrison is also amazing in this movie. This story is slow burn which has many layers to it. The characters draw you into their world and you actually care what happens next.

    Great acting by all the cast members. Wow Octavia & Naomi in the same movie. The story line keeps you guessing the whole route. Worth rewatching to rethink the ending.

    this is a good movie, in the scenes I was mezmorized by the acting it was absolutely astonishing!

    The acting was great, and so was the movie, until the end...when there was no ending
