I have a small hearing hearing, which i did not want to admit for long time. This caused issues when we watch movies, TV or trying to listen music. I need to have volume higher vs rest of my family.
Then, I bought Lucid Audio just to try it out. This headphones are amazing! Lucid Audio AMPED allowed me to watch TV with rest of the family at volume that I like (need) and at volume my family can enjoy.
Pros:
1. Headset is extremely comfortable.
2. It has Ambient Microphones. Headset covers my ears, but it does have microphones to help me with ambient sound so i can hear what people are telling me when I have headset on.
3. There are 2 separate volume controls on headset. One is for TV and Music and other one is for ambient sound. I can watch TV with my volume control and still hear people around me, if i want to.
4.At night, i like to watch TV late, while my wife sleeps and this headphones are life savers for us.
5. It is easy to set up and connect to TV. It comes with Bluetooth adapter which you connect to TV (simple red and white input for stereo connection) which allows you to sit sit anywhere in the room and hear with out problems.
6. If you are using to listen to music on your phone, you still can adjust ambient sound. This really helps when we travel.
Cons:
Stereo sound is great, but with new movies, i would love to experience surround sound. Yes, i know, for the price, this is great and i know that i would need to pay a lot more to get 5.1 in my headset.
I wish i pulled trigger on this long time ago. It is amazing how much i missed by not being able to hear everything.
