I got these for our newborn baby girl who's 4 months old. Since everything about her is precious and new, it's so important to protect what she already has which includes her hearing. Especially since once a loud noise lays down those hairs. It's a permanent thing, the damage is not something you can fix. And we're not the ones to stay home and not do anything. Anytime she's been wearing these and has been around loud noises that are loud enough to bother me, the noises haven't phased her at all. Actually a majority of the time, she sleeping through them. Or if she's eating and looking around. She doesn't act startled. Her facial expressions don't even change. And she's a very expressive baby girl. Using them recently at about 3 and a half months, they worked a lot better, as in they were a lot easier to keep on. And they aren't heavy by any means. But they do have a little weight to them. I would say these will be ideal and appreciated the most when she can sit up on her own. But when she needs to lean up against me or be cradled so much, it's a constant battle to keep these from sliding off. We have a big fat Indian wedding to attend next month, so these came at a perfect time as the noise level in the "after wedding" party is unimaginable. I'm so glad we got these to protect our baby's ear. It came nicely packaged along with a USB charging cable. I charged them right out of the box. There's no indicator on the hearmuffs to show the battery level but the company claims a battery life of 6 to 8 hours. I'm yet to test that but so far, they haven't died after about 3 hours of collective use. It is very comfortable but can get a bit annoying, specially for newborns with no habit of wearing one before. So babies will definitely need some "break in" period before finally getting used to it. The first time our daughter wore them, she constantly tried to take them off after about 10 mins. So far, we have gone as long as 30 mins of her wearing them at the most when she's up. During sleep, it doesn't seem to bother her at all. Hopefully, by the wedding time, she's fully adapted to using them for longer period of time while being awake. As far as the connectivity goes, it can be paired with a cell phone in case you want to stream soft music like white noise or lullabies for your baby to fall asleep. I did connect it to my phone and tested the sound but we have no intention to use this feature until she grows a tad bit older. Although, it's a great feature to have. Overall, we like them and definitely recommend.

Bought these in prep for our toddler's first flight. They worked wonderfully. They fit great on his head and he seemed very comfortable. The limit to the volume was appreciated. I highly recommend these to my friends with kids.

The Lucid Audio - Lucid Hearing Bluetooth HearMuffs for Infant/Toddler - Hearing Protection for Infant/Toddler 0-4 Years Old - BLUE provide a way for my great grandson to enjoy his Amazon fire tablet without damaging his precious little ears. As a toddler, he does not understand how playing videos or music too loud can harm his ears. The Lucid Audio - Lucid Hearing Bluetooth HearMuffs for Infant/Toddler - Hearing Protection for Infant/Toddler 0-4 Years Old - BLUE fit his head very snug and his ears are fully enclosed by the HearMuffs giving him a pure sound with no outside interference. His parents are happy his ears are protected by the sound isolating foam cushion and plan on using them as the first choice for baby’s listening enjoyment.

My kids love these headphones. For younger daughters these are great and feel very safe. They feel very comfortable and are not too loud but loud enough they still enjoy them. The stitching and quality is pretty nice. These are not 300 quality but they are great for their price. Connection to their tablet was easy. It could have been documented better but we got it working. I also think it was interesting they still have a micro B connector and not USB C. I think all new devices should just be USB C. The charging cable that comes with them is not the longest but they worked fine with my existing cable as well. Just get the ones that match your child's head and you will be happy.

Got for my newborn niece; a little big at first

We got these for my newborn niece to use as her parents are musicians and work with a lot of studio recordings and bands. The muffs are very soft and comfortable and we felt good utilizing them. Plus, they are Bluetooth compatible so we can play music straight from our Spotify station for the baby to relax to. Her dad keeps her in the studio while mixing music with large and loud speakers all over and she stayed sound asleep the entire time. My only negative about the device is that we couldn't really use it when she was a newborn because they were just too big. They kept sliding off or they just wouldn't stay on. We couldn't really use them until she was about three weeks old, and then were even large then. Also, they charge via microUSB and the cord they came with was really short. I much would prefer a USB-C port instead. Nonetheless, it is for a child that will eventualy grow out of them, and the price point isn't bad at all so definitely a win for those with infants.

Cute and practical Headphones for Toddlers

Got the Blue Lucid Audio Bluetooth HearMuffs for Baby for the 3 year old so he doesn't fight over his older brother's Red HearMuffs. It pairs easily with a retired Android phone he inherited from mommy's upgrade, so he can watch his videos without bothering everyone else around. He’s not allowed to use them for that long, plus he gets bored quickly, so these headphones are comfortable and durable enough. The headband is adjustable, so it’ll allow for growth in the next couple of years, if they last that long. They do offer some sound isolation for airplane travel or other noisy environments. So far they’ve lasted almost a week on a single charge, so we don’t have to worry about plugging them in frequently, therefore less wear and tear on the charging port.

Just Right Size and Excellent Design

The Lucid Hearing Bluetooth HearMuffs work effectively. But a very important question is if an infant or toddler would rip them right off one way or another. However, if you put them in use frequently but not for long sessions at first, the toddlers seem to get used to them. The best uses were for situations with loud woodworking machinery, loud music and lullaby time. Outside sound is muffled as I did some testing on my own head one ear at a time. The option to connect Bluetooth is genius. Here you can pick the type of music the toddler or infant will hear. Obvious is lullabies and that proved to be a good sleep inducer as you might think. I did take the headphones off after infant went to sleep. I also felt the unit was rugged, it is not a toy. The headset doesn’t have any loose parts that could get swallowed, very nice safe design. The headset has quite a bit of size adjustment. I did find on the set I have that the extension of the headband took quite a bit of force to pull it out. This may be as designed so that once set, the toddler can’t readjust them easily. I do feel this is not a problem but rather an excellent design point from the engineers – tip of the cap to them. I do recommend this headset.

It's weird to write a review for something that I can't really use. These headphones seem to work well, though. One issue that you might have would be the pressure they seem to have. The ears press together pretty hard so if you have a child that may be sensitive to that pressure these might not be the ones for you. Understandably, it's a fine line between staying on the head pressure and too much. Another issue may be the cup size depending on how large your child's ears are. I feel like these cups are a little too thin and they touch my kid's ears and maybe squish them in a little bit. Setting up the bluetooth audio was as simple as most devices. Hold the power button and then select the device in your bluetooth settings on your phone and you're connected. Audio sounded good from what I could test and it didn't sound incredibly loud when maxed out but that's pretty subjective. Overall, headphones/earmuffs are a tricky thing to review since everyone's child is different and has different needs. These work well if they fit and don't bother your child but that's going to be up to you.

I was really happy with these! My toddler (over 2 yrs) thinks that they are super cute and is excited to ear them. I got them to work well with her tablet for trips in the car and they apparently provide good noise protection. Its really hard to tell how much protection they provide -- there was no labeling on the package. I had my older son try them on and he said he couldn't hear anything running around the house but absent any real testing you have to take it on faith that your little one will be ok with these on when going to an air show etc. The head band has some high tension too, it really pushes the ear muffs on to their little heads. I suspect after an hour my little girl will start trying to pull them off, we haven't made it that long in tests. Overall I like them and I think that as a parent this is something that you should get for your toddler, I just wish I hadmore confidence in how good they were and how much noise protection they were providing.

I got these for my granddaughter to wear when she is out with our family on our ranch where we hunt and shoot targets. My granddaughter just turned 1 and these muffs have worked great! I was so worried about her being scared and screaming when the shotguns were fired but she handled it great while wearing the muffs. She did try to pull at them and take them off so I would hold my hands over them when I knew the gun was about to be fired. We intend on using these on her when we attend sporting evens also and hoping she can even nap with them on!!

Great to Protect your Little Ones Ears

These headphones are pretty well built. They feel nice and solid and they seem that in the hands of a child, they would be able to withstand drops and the occasional throwing of them by a baby. The bluetooth pairing worked well with no issues. The 6 month old seems to love them! The fact that they are volume limited is a great feature to protect young sensitive ears. The blinking light when they are on is also a nice feature to know when the device is on or off. The only downside is that these headphones are a little heavier, most likely due to all the technology in them, but the baby was able to wear them without any fuss.

Ordered this for my almost 3 year old who has a tiny head for our flight. She loves her headphones. And they seem comfortable as she doesn’t leave anything else on her head. Wish there was a way to use an aux if we wanted but love it for small children.

Fantastic for kids. I have a 2 &4 year old and these fit wonderfully for my 2 year old. easy to pair with an iPad. or great for hearing protection as they cover the full ear. I would highly recommend these for any parents looking for a solid over the ear headphone that doesn't seem to have a poor build quality.

Perfect for little one. Connects via Bluetooth and even has a white noise/sound canceling option. Can’t wait to try on our upcoming trip where we have to board a plane for his first time. Small and very portable.
