The recent events surrounding Louis CK should not determine whether or not to watch this. This was, to my knowledge, Louis’s first television outing. A unique “live studio audience” format was used for an R rated HBO series and, for the most part, worked better than it probably should have. It never ran an additional season, unfortunately. But still, there’s plenty of fun to be had with this season, which is packed with the expected style of raunchy humor one would expect from its cast and crew. That’s by no means an insult.

Louis C.K. is the most underrated comedian out there. His humor is controversial, crass, taboo and I LOVE IT! This show is one of the funniest shows ever made but unfortunately, it got canceled after the first season; probably because his comdey may not appeal to the general masses. If youre a fan of someone like Dane Cook, this may not be for you, but if youre a fan of the likes of Sarah Silverman then you should love it!

I absolutely love this show. It is off color and uncensored and absolutely for adults. The topics cover normal things that everyone may relate to such as getting rent money, child behavior, marriage issues, and much more. Not only would I recommend this to a friend but I have shown Lucy Louie to many of my friends. One friend loved it so much I gave him my DVDs and ordered a new set for myself.

dont know why hbo only gave them 1 season, i hope they'll reconsider ..
