great show one of the best marvel tv shows on netflix

Based on marvel character. True someway to the comic.

This show is a lot of fun, the last few episodes weren’t as strong but still solid overall

Marvel and Netflix hit a home run with Luke Cage!!

It’s a good show, but not Marvels best, still definitely worth a watch

I really liked the movie and the contents that came with.

This is a very entertaining series that was a part of the Marvel-studios-Web-release. Similar as Daredveil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Punisher. Huge crossover of all these titles in the Defenders series that will be released later on. There is one thing that needs to be noted. Even though it lists this as a DVD, it is actually a Blu-Ray release. Even the cover case lists this a Blu-Ray so Best Buy needs to amend this listing. I just wish Marvel Studios would be as diligent with the Agent's Of S.H.I.E.L.D. season three and our, since they were never released on DVD/Blu-Ray in the USA.

Luke Cage was sadly born to Marvel comics during a period of "blaxplotation" and used as a wingman for the titles "Heroes for Hire" and "Powerman and Iron Fist". He was later re imagined and became a powerful, positive role model and caring father in an inter racial relationship. This theme was carried over into the TV series well. Nice to see part of the Serpent Society used as well in the Extended Marvel Universe.

I really liked this series and this character. the blu-ray is an excellent release.
