The Luma Home Wireless Wi-Fi works as advertised. Easy to setup with the iOS app (this might be a limitation for some). Simply plug and play and the hub connects to broadcast the Wi-Fi throughout your house. The app guides you on placement of the nodes based on the size of your home, but feel free to put the nodes where they work best for you.
Excellent security and easy to configure. No more wireless dead spots. The app lets you view and manage the devices connected to the internet.
Overall the Luma is easy to set up, use and manage.

I wasn't sure what I was really looking for when I bought the Luna home system just had a goal to get more wifi outside. This product did just that and exceeded my expectations. I can get wifi as far as 100 ft from my house. After buying was one of my best purchases. It's easy to set up and the controls you have with a smart phone is a bonus. I can turn on and off family members wifi at any time perfect for parents with kids.

Easy set up and increased WiFi speed throughout my whole home. My upstairs bedrooms went from having 6 -10mb of download speed to well above 80 mb. Would recommend to anyone

The setup was very easy with my smartphone, it has parental controls. It also allows you to add a guest user if someone comes to your home and you don't want to give out the wifi password there is a special access for one time visitor(s). You can block devices from connecting, add a limited time to specific devices and it provides a full wifi connection throughout the house with no dead-spots.

I purchased this to fill in some 'dead' spots in my home about 6 months ago. It was easy to set-up and gave me access to monitor device usage. I could even set limits on my kids so it would shut off their access at bed time.

At first I was very impressed with coverage of this product with the 3 router system. Also that it was quick and easy to set up via their app. It is the only way to set them up. Unfortunately one router crashed completely after about a week. Continuous blue ring failure. After contacting Luma they were quick to send a replacement. Resolved the problem but now at 5 6 weeks of use in the past few days the system is contantly crashing. Best buy refused to refund me being past 30 days. Also Luma them selves refuse to refund after 30 days. I was pretty sure that they are under warranty for a year. Well needless to say I am very disappointed with this product. Having to spend time rebooting the routers the last few days the ltitle time I have off of work. Rather than being able to home from work and actually being able to make use of the Internet here. Once I even had to factory reset all routers and reset them all from scratch, it took way over an hour.

Great Solution

I had an issue with my single router not providing great coverage towards the front of my house. So I decided to go with a mesh solution instead of repeaters. I choose Luna due to the solid review and cost compared to the competition. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. The coverage is excellent towards the front of the house now with consistent speeds throughout. I also like the fact the the single SSID name is provided thoughout the house instead of additional names for each repeater.

Setting up the Luma was mostly easy. "Mostly", as a matter of fact, is the theme of my review. It was mostly easy, some odd hiccups. Figuring out the correct location was mostly sensible. Reliability is mostly on point. We are overall happy with this purchase, and the benefit of having one reliable network with one SSID and one password throughout our house is immeasurable!

This device solved all of my problems. I live in a 2500 sq. ft. two-story home, and wasn't getting reception in my office downstairs. I installed this (easily set-up) and my problems were solved immediately. Streaming TV has been great as well. It was a bit pricey, but worth the investment.

Very happy with purchase. Sale at 299. Covered 7700 square foot building (one floor). Set up was easy, just a little slow, but not difficult. I did call tech support once, response time was quick and solved my problem quickly.

Great router system. Great app. Great controls in app. The only problem I had was that I couldn't get fast enough speeds. The wifi coverage was pretty good. I ended up returning it and I bought the Orbi. I like the Luma app better, but I am getting double the wifi speeds with the Orbi. If you don't care as much about the speed, Luma is great.

The three pack Luma Home worked really well in my home - it is about 4,700 feet and kinda elongated - previously plenty trouble with wi-fi. Luma has taken care of this problem with minimum effort. Easy to install and works great. Really a good solution to a wi-fi problem.

If you have dead zones in your house, Luma is the router for you! What Luma does, is it automatically fine-tunes the router to your house, so that you place the routers in the locations where the service wouldn't typically reach...Wa-la! You have surround wifi!

I purchased this router package after a number of issues with the standard router-type. Getting a straight-line signal to cover my entire apartment was nearly impossible.
I'd reviewed higher-power routers to see if the signal would cover the apartment, but do to how routers send signals, and the angles in my place, it still wouldn't cover the house.
Then I came across the new "mesh" coverage technology. I discussed these with Best Buy staff to better understand how they function, and decided to try them out. I couldn't be happier. I came home and setup all three and haven't had a coverage issue since.
While the signal quality is top notch, I'm even more impressed by the granularity of control over each device, device permissions, and parental controls. I couldn't be happier with the quality of this product!

The system was very easy to set up, but the one item of information missing is that you can't use the system with all satellite cable setups. Because of our location we couldn't get a constant enough signal to finish the set up, even through the phone app. If we had better signal strength we would have been good. I would try it again, when I have better service.

The device works okay if you don't have blast speed internet. Where it fails is when you try and get all your wifi at the speed you paid for. For example, we pay for 230mbps and it was only giving us 170.
The reason for this is they use the same wifi transponder for connection and between routers. This doesn't allow the speeds to get as high as the replacement I got which was the velop.

I got this when it was on sale as a gift for someone. I set it up in there home, and managed to finally have coverage through the entire dwelling, About 3,000 Sq ft. Setup was easy, really no complaints. I give it a 4 star because I personally have the Velop and have tested the Orbi, and those would be 5 Star systems to me.
