I bought this because a relative had gotten the Google Wi-Fi 3-pack, and I really liked the features associated with it, but it had been out of stock for some time. The Luma 3-pack came down in price, matching that of the Google Wi-Fi system, so I thought it would be comparable. I was experiencing several dropouts a week with it, especially at first, but I think it was a firmware issue because it improved after the last update. I also didn't like the fact that I could be in the middle of using the internet (i.e., streaming movies) when it would just decide to go through an update at the worst times and disconnect for as long as it took to complete each update...(I never found an option to limit the updates to certain times, such as when I'm asleep). When it did work, it worked well. I think I should've waited for the Google Wi-Fi to be available.

I purchased this mesh wifi to cover my entire house (approx 2000 sq feet). It works perfectly. It was easy to set up and has worked flawlessly. I plan to purchase another system for my son's home.

Love this product. Expands the normal internet in our house. Can lock out the kids from internet at certain times and keep them age appropriate without any hassles. No more dead spots in our house.

The WiFi in our home has always been spotty. Due to the high ceiling and location of the router, getting good WiFi in every room has been difficult. The Luma was recommended to us by the BB associate. We were looking for another brand, but it was out of stock. The Luma turned out to be a great choice. It was very easy to set up and we now get strong WiFi throughout the house. The tech support is also top notch. We had problems getting our printer to work over the new network, but Luma suppport helped us. I'd highly recommend this product.

I would recommend this to anyone with WiFi issue and security I have purchase this Luma and we'll worth the money it spread my WiFi all over the house, from back yard to across the street A++

Very easy to set up, so if you aren't tech savvy this is the product you want to buy. I still run into situations where signal is spotty, probably due to being just far enough away from each unit. Overall product is a very good solution and I would recommend trying if you have trouble spots in home.

I have been pleased with my new mesh network. The Internet rocks all through the house. No dead zones anymore and I have control over 18 devices that are on the network.

Greatly expands coverage. Area has limited coverage and these nodes greatly enhance workable areas by improving / expanding signal strength to wireless network

The set of three Luma nodes improved my in home internet coverage. Have a large home and may need one or two more for peak performance. Interesting to see enhancements being downloaded; none that I need today but anticipate this being advantageous in the future.

I have a 3500 sq ft house and previously used an extender for better coverage. The coverage and speeds are better and it was easy to setup.

Initially the unit did not work. I was going to return it the next trip out, but the following day I got a phone call from Luma support asking how my experience was. We quickly figured out the unit was actually not a new unit, but a returned one (Bad Best Buy! Bad!). Luma sent me a new unit over night with a return label for the old one. They also gave me some hints on how to improve the setup and took the criticism for not having the info on their website. Have it in a two story 3000sf home and it works great everywhere!

Very easy to set up, even with multiple units, and eliminated my wifi dead zones. Also like the built in parental control features.

Good for extending your Wi-Fi throughout your home. Incredibly simple setup process. Excellent tool for monitoring connections to your network and for monitoring / limiting Wi-Fi usage. Great for families with young kids.

The range of these mesh network router is not as far as they like to advertised but the speed is very consistent no matter how close or far to these routers. Hopefully there is a firmware update that fixes the issue.

We bought this product because we had moved to a bigger house and needed wi fi coverage through the house. The people at Best Buy recommended the product from netgear but it was more expensive and the reasoning they kept giving me seemed to apply to hardcore gamers. We have a small family of 4 and this product has filled our needs although I would like it to be a little faster. I will be upgrading to a better system, but it gets the job done for a family who uses it to pay bills and stream music and videos. I would recommend the product for a family that uses it for everyday home use.

I didn't think this device was going to work well at first but after installing it , my wifi is evenly strong and no weak spots throughout my 3000 soft home . Setting up was a struggle at first but I learned quickly that all the devices need to be auto updated by connecting them close together first then after they have been updated you can distance them out . Don't waste money on an extender . This device is the most affordable device of its kind and work very well .

If you are looking to get wifi in every corner of your house, this is a great way to go. I am running 4 of these in my weird shaped house. Each individual unit is not super strong, I would not recommend getting just one unit. It is meant to work with more than one. I had the nighthawk wifi extender, that unit is quite strong but I still had some dead spots. The security is great on the lumas also. Automatically blocks you from going onto dangerous sites and attacks.

The setup was very simple and straight forward. The devices are working flawlessly with great speed.

anupgrade from my standard wifi, this boosts my signal farther and stronger placing the devices anywhere in and around my house. i now have wifi in the garage

The Luma was easy to set up and install and boosts the internet from downstairs to upstairs.
