Bottom line: the Lume Cube 2.0 portable lighting kit offers a ton of versatility for your enhancing your photography. Pros: 10 brightness levels; variety of filters Cons: the design could use a tweak to make removal of filters a bit easier Review: The kit is perfect for my use in toy photography. The barn doors, shoot, and filter really help get the lighting in the right place for your shot. My only critique is that getting the filters off is a bit challenging. The magnets are pretty strong that hold them on and the design doesn’t really let you get your finger behind the filter well enough to easily pop it off.

So small and powerful. The accessories are easy tip use and case makes great storage

My only issue with this product is the app which has a lag when shooting which is VERY frustrating however there’s nothing wrong with just shooting hot lights and calling it a day! Faster shoots that way too! Totally love the snoot barn doors and color gels! Totally sweet little kit!

the number of accessories available for these lights really give them a lot of versatility. it’s convenient for a small portable on or off camera static light/flash slave for stills and video. not bright enough to shoot stopped down in a really low light or studio setting unless you have multiple lights on a single mount but in any other case they can add color, creative controlled lighting or a nice little boost for lower iso low light photos and it fits in your pocket. battery life is not terrible and does last about an hour at 100% power but if you don’t use the light for a couple days or a week, definitely be sure to top it off (like any other lithium ion battery). build quality is through the roof. easily the most impressive thing about this tiny little light

It’s a great product! Photos were looking nice and subjects were pretty lit.

Setup a small table-top studio in my garage and use this as my keylight and the lumecube flat panel for my background light. Attachments work just like it was a big studio light! Checks all the other boxes; sturdy, holds a charge, really bright, the 10-index range is perfectly fine, and the attached hot-shoe mount is super-stable. 10/10 !

I purchase the Lume Cube 2.0 to enhance my lighting when streaming from home. The Lume Cube 2.0 came with an assortment of useful attachments and modifiers as well as a ballhead attachment for tripod/monopod/lightstand. It is well worth the price. Added bonus- Lume-X app that lets you control the lighting remotely.

I keep this with my fast moving travel bag for photography and drone storage. It is an excellent option despite the cost.

I got this and ended up returning it because the Lume Cube included with the kit is a Lume Cube 1.0 and NOT a 2.0. After taking it back, the salesperson looked for a replacement, but it seems Best Buy has marked the box incorrectly. At no location on the box does it say Lume Cube 2.0, that is only in the Best Buy Description. I wouldn't have known this had I not looked at the videos of the Lume Cube 2.0 and 1.0 comparison before getting this. The obvious difference in the two Lume Cube models is that the 2.0 has true daylight color, is only waterproof to 30 ft and has a rubber cover over the USB-C connector on the back. The two buttons on the top are also labelled and there is an LED indicator between them. On the box of this product, there is no mention of it containing a Lume Cube 2.0 anywhere and all the specs point to the Lume Cube 1.0 - which is confirmed when you open the kit. I strongly suggest Best Buy correct this error.
