I was excited about this band and cover for my new apple watch. When I installed it and put it on, the band showed to be a little on the short side. I do have big wrists and like to wear my bands a little loose, so this is not a complaint against that. However, the crown cover on the side of the watch protrudes way too much. a slight bend of my wrist and Siri is getting activated. This became a nuisance very quickly. I tried wearing the watch a little higher up, but ultimately returned the band. For $70, I want it to fit the way I like it to. Pro: Many reviews state that the crown cover is not very responsive on the watch. I had no issues. The connection seemed solid and the crown was able to spin the way it was intended. If you have smaller wrists, this may be a good option for you. The setup looks great, I really liked the durability and comfort of knowing my watch was protected... I just didn't want to see Siri that much.

Have worn it for about a week now and it's very nice. Protects my watch well and looks and feels beefier than the Apple bands. The crown wheel works without any issues, just follow assembly instructions and all is well. Only con is it's a little pricey.

The Lunatik Epic case for my 42mm Space Grey Apple Watch was exactly what I was looking for in protecting my watch. I had previously used the Nike+ Sportwatch so the bands were almost identical to each other. The nice rubber strap makes the Apple Watch look very masculine and adds some needed stock to the watch frame. I am a tennis professional so I am pretty hard on watches. So far this has blocked all the dings and bumps from rackets and the errant tennis ball. Highly recommended if you are looking to beef up your Apple Watch and add some serious protection. Obviously will take some time to screw and unscrew case, but if you only use one band like me it really doesn't matter.

Feels cheap and was built cheap, the digital crown no longer worked after installing the case. Also the watch strap was tiny it barely fit my arm and I'm not a big guy!!! Good idea needs much work though... I returned it after trying to use it for a day!

After reading the recent reviews online from BB and You Tube I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this product. I needed both a case and a band for my 42mm Apple Watch Sport that would be basically bulletproof (well almost), as well as retain some original functionality of the Watch. Bought and installed this case on my Watch per the instructions and it does function normally, with a bit of a kink. I tightened the lower install screw snug and the top screw snug and then backed it off a just a bit, DONE!!, works like a charm. If however, the top screw is tightened too snug the upper scroll wheel loses it's function (so heads up on that one). Other than that, this case is awesome!!, it fit me comfortably, the band is strong, the case looks and feels killer, durable and no need to worry about damaging my Apple Watch at work, during daily chores/errands, at the gym or during outdoor sports. It's an option to have that is a plus, likewise you will want some extra bands of varying sizes/colors (it's what makes the Apple Watch customization/ interchangeability a plus). That said, I highly recommend this case/band based on it's light weight (compared to it "looking heavy"), the heavy duty band, and the fully protective case (to include the side function buttons) while retaining the Apple Watch's full functionality.

I have been a fan of LunaTik for years. I am very sad that they didn't Hit a home run with this product, well at least for me and others. Looking at the design is great. But what it looks like they were lazy on the design. They took the old nano watch band and add it to a new case. I am one of many that have upgraded from the sports band. I upgraded to the 42 Space Black Stainless Steel. I have contacted them on making a adapter that would allow you to use your apple bands. They did reply with sorry they will not have an adapter. Witch I was shocked do to this case is a higher end product that people that have stainless or upgraded bands would love to have. I bought a case months ago that allows me to use my apple bands, and its 1/4 the the price. I was waiting for this case to come out. So if you bought the sports band model then this case is for you, if you bought an upgrade band then i suggest you not buy do to your apple band wont work with this case. :( I am still hope full they will upgrade the case or make an adapter to let people use apple bands. I returned the case. and wait for something better from LunaTik.

I like the band and I always get compliments however, today after wearing it for about 2 months now i noticed one of the small screws came off and I lost it, i have two more replacements but this should not happen so soon and so easy, I am now worried that two months later I will lose another screw and I will then have none left and the band will be useless after that.

First, I like the look and feel of the case and band. I'm used to wearing a big G-Shock as part of my outdoor gear and this felt similar to me. But there are a few things that taken together will mean I'm returning this version. 1. It's $70 and it's plastic. This is not enough by itself to make me return the case (I knew the material and price going into this and was willing to pay it). 2. The digital crown works for "pressing" but rarely works for "scrolling." I mean most of the time you scroll and absolutely nothing happens. I don't use the digital crown much but I'd still rather it worked. 3. The fit is passable but on mine the bottom of the face is a snug fit but there's a slight gap at the top where the case comes together (hardly noticeable). 4. The piece used to secure the extra band length is hard plastic and rubs against your skin. The band feels great but that plastic piece rubs my skin raw throughout the day. I guess you could cover it with a piece of tape. I flipped the thing around and used it backwards and it was a lot better. At least that side doesn't have a sharp edge. I really want this case to work and I think it will when they iron out a few issues. I'll be a buyer when they do! But for now I don't think you can throw away features and comfort for $70.

Bought this to use on my watch for days when I'm working in a harsh or dirty environment. I thought it would be easier to change out when I want to go back to the normal band. If you want to keep your watch in this full time, I think it's a great band!

Purchased today and got home, put the case/band on my watch, and looked amazing! I love a thicker watch so that really worked for me. All the features seem to work but the lower button didn't let me double tap to access Apple Pay feature. Also, you really had to push just to get to your favorite contact listing to send messages. I use both of these features all the time and the look/protection didn't outweigh the lower usability to me. I am returning tomorrow and hoping that my band was defective. When I get the replacement and try out I will edit my review if the need arises.

This watch band / case combination adds a nice, refreshing look to your Apple Watch. It is not bad when bending the wrist so you do not feel pain or discomfort from the case thickness. Yes, it does make it much thicker. The digital crown button is extended by the case. I feel this would have been a must have at $69.99 if the case was metal.

I bought this for my Apple Watch because I wanted more protection for the watch while I was at the gym or remodeling my house. The case looked good on the watch making it look similar to a Casio G-Shock. It was slightly awkward to install and it is not a case that you can just pop off and switch over to something dressier easily. It is meant to install and stay on. My issue with this case is that it doesn't work. I installed it and tried to use the scroll wheel on the crown and nothing happened. I took it apart and reinstalled it but nothing happened. You can push in the crown and that works but it doesn't seem to grab the crown when you are trying to turn it. That was a deal breaker and I returned it.

I just picked one up and overall great. I am coming from a G shock so the bulk is not a problem to me. Only down fall to me is the scroll knob gets pressed at least 30 times a day when I bend my wrist.

I just purchased this product in a Best Buy store based on the suggestion of a sales associate at a physical store. I purchased my 42mm Apple Watch Sport at the same time. Basically you have to remove the screws that hold the metal shell in place, and it snugly holds the Apple Watch. I did like the protection it offered, but the only downside is that it's VERY small and will not fit my wrist except on the last hole. Also the actual band itself is fabric, which I don't like. Regardless, it doesn't matter what it's made of it won't fit my wrist. In all fairness I am a large man and I'm 6'6" tall, but the band that came with the Apple Watch Sport works just fine with plenty of room to spare. You would think that a company coming out with an aftermarket band would at least try and fit the same sizes as the standard bands. I wouldn't recommend this product because of the small size and cheap looking fabric band. I think this might fit a child or a petite woman, or perhaps a man of much smaller stature, but it's not really what I had hoped for.

I bought this watch case about a month ago, and really liked it. it has a great look to it, it's well-built and just overall has a good quality to it. The main issue that I had with the watch is the crown knob hits my hand whenever I bend my hand back, it ends up turning on the watch display. This would eat away at battery life on my watch. This might not be a problem for somebody with smaller hands and a smaller wrist, But if you have bigger wrists or bigger hands you probably will run into the same problem I had. I eventually took the product back.

Ok so I wanted this to work so bad!! I loved the look and the protection but here is the real facts...it sucks to put together..once it's on it's on, not an easy swap so be aware of that! Also I bought 2 and returned 2...why?!? Because the scroll wheel does NOT work!! I tried everything to get them to work and it frustrated the heck out of me that they would not work!! I might have gotten it to work 50% of the time and that was with me pushing hard and turning on the wheel. This is a nice looking product but this company needs to figure out how to get it to work 100% of the time.

It lookes very nice but when you install it nothing works. I tried to replace it and same thing. The buttons don't work. The crown won't work and the button below the crown does not catch. Why put a product out and charge so much for it not to match up with the buttons. I returned it same day.

I first thought it was odd that it came with two extra screws. Well, found out why. If you tighten the screws just a little, they strip out! Went thru all four and they all stripped out. Then the crown was on/off working. Sometimes it pushes in, sometimes nothing.

Nice rugged protection for the Apple Watch. This is very confortable to wear and easy to install. One of my favorite Apple Watch accessories.
