I would highly recommend seeing this movie, it is in fact quite lifting and a great piece of cinema.

What is a "character" based story turned out to be a whole lot more. The story as played by the actors is very funny, quite dramatic at times and also ultimately touching. Alec Baldwin, Rory Culkin, Kieran Culkin and Emma Roberts have the most screen time but Timothy Hutton deserves an award for the scenes he is in. This is an award worthy film. It is funny, but escapism it is not. It makes you think about your own life in ways that can be disturbing but also enlightening.
I would recommend this to a friend
