I love my MacBook Pro! I never thought I would be a laptop person, but the ease of use, and fast processing and I can work my MS Office just fine. Camera for Facetime is brilliant. And I like the size- good for traveling. I had to get used to using adapter for usb to usb-c. But now it is second nature. I use a keyboard cover to protect and outer shell, and added shortcut stickers you can see in the pic

Fantastic laptop. I upgraded from a Microsoft surface pro seven with i7 processor and 16 GB RAM, and this laptop just blows it out of the water. I use it for photo editing, and this thing just bursts through my 70 MB photos without breaking a sweat. Battery life is amazing, the screen is absolutely killer, and the new keyboard is way better than the old butterfly ones. The speakers sound great. even while doing heavy editing this laptop barely gets warm, and I have yet to hear the fan. I am absolutely in love, so glad I switched over

This is an excellent and extremely power-efficient MacBook. I upgraded from a 16" i9 Intel MacBook Pro, and I couldn't be happier. I work with photo and video often, so this has been a wonder in terms of productivity boost for me. Not only do I get a dedicated SD card slot back, but I also am able to run Photoshop and Lightroom with multiple projects open with virtually zero lag and no overheating. All of my applications open very quickly, saving and exporting files is nearly instant, and video exporting happens silently and quickly. The battery can comfortably last a 4-5 hour heavy-use editing use session on a single charge, and even longer when I'm lightly using it to browse the internet or watching content. I'm so impressed, considering my old MacBook would overheat by basically turning it on and opening one tab on Safari. The screen is incredible as well. HDR looks fantastic, black are almost as good as OLED screens, and photo editing has never been easier for when working with color correcting. Although I did downgrade from a larger 16" display to the 14", I am much happier with the smaller form factor for my personal use. The only regret I have is that I didn't opt for a higher RAM config – when multiple multimedia apps are open, the memory pressure can start to get into the yellow and red zone, with SSD memory swap ranging from 2-6GB. Otherwise, I absolutely love this little powerhouse.

The laptop works really well, it has amazing speakers and graphics. The battery life is truly impressive. It’s size/dimensions makes it easy to carry around. I’ve partially used it for school, I study architecture and it wasn’t the laptop I needed exactly, but I was able to use it for other things, like writing out documents and other homework that didn’t involve using heavy software like AutoCad. Make sure the programs/software you’ll use are compatible with this mac, other than that it’s still useful for many other things, especially when you need a day to relax and watch Netflix, Disney, etc.

I'm am new to MacBook and haven't had the chance to compare with other Macs however the experience with this Macbook has been very pleasant; its fast, reliable, quiet all of I wanted from a computer. I feel that I'm using this computer more that others computer have bought in the past. the M1 apple chip is great and fast. I don't hear fans runnings and love that, the new tech of the display is awesome. so far i don't miss anything from my Win IOS computers. the integration with other apple products and the Apple ID is incredible. the fact that I can respond IM texts from my Mac while I'm working is a great feature and love that I can forward regular text from my iPhone to my Mac and responded them as well. battery! wow since I bought it I have charge it 3 times and I'm using the computer almost every day for regular task for about 30-45 minutes, wow love that. in general I'm very please and impressed with all the features and the new things I can do with with my Mac :)

I love this laptop!!! It is replacing an aging 2017 iMac. I bought a companion 4K monitor and use the MBP mostly with lid closed. The iMac had only a 512GB SSD and I found that 1T is really my minimum. I highly recommend bumping up to the larger SSD, as it is not replaceable. This is my primary photo editing platform and the new CPU/GPU/MLU combo knocks the socks off my old i5 iMac. I went with the 16GB of RAM for expedience, as it was in stock. I don't want for speed and have not had any memory issues. My photo editing is done using mostly Luminar 4 as a plug-in to Apple Photos. There is a bunch of overhead to launch an edit and the M1 takes a few seconds where the iMac would struggle for 15-40 at times to open a photo. It would be faster natively in Luminar, but I want Apple Photos to handle cloud storage and replication. As a software engineer, I dabble in Machine Learning and Apple has made an ML accelerator plug in for Tensorflow and other machine learning frameworks that uses the native ML/GPU hardware in the M1. I will be moving my ML work to this Mac as it runs rings around my old Intel i7 Linux box with an Nvidia GTX 1080 GPU ... so much quieter and portable too.

After 1 year no issues. Long battery life, lightweight, fast Touch ID, awesome speakers, HDMI, SDXC, big Touch Bar, MagSafe! Well worth the money!

Before purchasing this MacBook, my main laptop was a 2014 MBP base model. And the difference between the two (especially thanks to the Apple silicon chips) has been day and night. I'd been put off from Macs for a while because they kept removing ports, the keyboards got worse on the MacBooks, and the infamous touchbar. I am so glad Apple got rid of the touchbar and brought back essential ports because professionals like myself absolutely need built-in ports. The less dongles, the better. The keyboard on this Mac is my favorite. I love typing on this thing! And the 120hz promotion is such a welcomed update. Also, the battery life on this is incredible! I've gone a couple of days at times working on the laptop without charging. Overall this such a beautiful laptop and I cannot recommend it enough. If it's a bit too pricey, I would highly recommend the base model or even the M1 Air models. The Apple silicon chips are game changers. And for the vast majority of people, this is overkill. Very pleased with this purchase – will be using this laptop for years to come!

I love my new MacBook! The battery life is fantastic - I can run multiple programs and remotely work for an entire day without worrying about plugging in. Very user friendly too. Highly recommend for anyone who is one the fence about purchasing. I wish I had gotten this sooner!

I was windows user for 25 years and recently one of my friends stronly recommended mac book pro for a coding and general IT. I wanted to try and see for myself. He was 100% right mac os is way easier to work with (once you get used to it) than any other platforms and the quality of the mac book pro is just way above than any other laptops. Do I think they worth this much more than other good laptops? No. But if you are lucky enough to trade the money for your comfort then this device will make you most comfortable laptop/internet user.

I didnt think the 14” would be enough coming doen from a 15” but i am very comfortable with it. The hnit as a whole feels compaxt, i love the logo on the bottom. Handles my heavy apps much better.

Better than going to the Apple Store. The space gray is gorgeous. On a practical note: If you’re a designer, videographer, etc, definitely opt for the laptop vs desktop— when the electricity goes out, so does all of our hard work. I don’t have to worry about saving the doc every few minutes. The m1 pro is also great for handling a bunch of programs (ps, id, illustrator, etc), games, Spotify & bunch of tabs at the same time. No overheating like the old MacBook pros.

Live it so far! The quality you get from Apple is unlike any other. Screen is beautiful, processor is fast, and ample storage space if you get the 1TB model.

Battery life is as advertised and better than the 13" M1 MacBook air I was previously using. The larger screen makes a difference.

This is a great computer! It's bigger and a little heavier than my previous MacBook Pro. My information transferred easily from my other Mac. Speed and memory are awesome and the display is stunning.

I have been a Windows user for years, and decided to get a MacBook pro m1 14" for IT and video editing. This is a great quality laptop, the keyboard and display on this Mac is great. This was a good buy for what I purchased it for, I recommend it.
