I really like this MP3 player. The instructions were easy to follow. I have about 450 songs on it, yet I can's choose a folder to pick from. The feature to choose random songs or repeat one or all is a great plus. For the price of under $20, it was a great deal.

I bought this solely to have a small MP3 while running. Out of 4 computers in the house, only one will talk to this MP3 player to load music, and that one only through a USB hub. The device just isn't able to communicate over USB - which is a serious problem for a device which can only be loaded from a computer.
Changing the volume is difficult, requiring a button press to change modes out of controlling the playback. The display is almost impossible to read in sunlight. The only saving grace is that it is small, and plays music for long enough.

The Eclipse Mach Speed 4GB MP3 player is a very small format MP3 player with average headphones which are a bit large for my ears and so are not as comfortable as others I have had. Lack of a volume control on the cable means setting volume through a non-intuitive button interface on the unit.
The screen is too small to be very useful in selecting an individual song easily. The selections can easily be set up in folders, and working within a folder is easy. Play all and random functions work well, though it has a tendency to get stuck in a particular folder.
Eclipse makes a unit with a larger screen. For some this might be a better choice.

I basically needed a quick and easy mp3 player for work when I'm away from my desk, i.e. filing, copying or setting up files. Also, with no radio in our office, I found it very easy to copy my music on the mp3 player. The earplugs that came with the mp3 player have a very nice sound and are comfortable.
I would recommend this to anyone who isn't concerned about losing or breaking this because it was inexpensive and easy to fix.

This mp3 is compact so that it fits in the pocket while exercising. The quality is compatible to the expensive one. If one is looking for an inexpensive mp3 player with decent quality, I would like to recommend this product.

have had tons of mp3s - some sports, ipod, etc.. This is the BEST for the price! This replaces my old eclipse that I used for a couple years. It is great for running (clip on the hat). Though, as with every mp3, had to switch out cheap ear phones. hard to read. A bit hard to get my head phones to work (had to manipulate how far to put them in). A tad hard at times to charge. BUT overall I like this product MUCH better than ipod (which I believe is cumbersome with terrible battery and not made for salt/sweat) for less than 1/2 the price. the random button likes to repeat the same songs. not much help online. This is not as good as some of our sports' mp3s from speedo, sony, etc. however sells for just a fraction of the price of those.

Was using this for two elderly people who wanted just music. I loaded all their music on to my laptop, and plugged in this one and away it went. Only issue I had was it pulled music I didn't want it to had to manually stop it more than once. Than remove my music off the device. Both have said sound quality is amazing. Battery lasts long for both of them . One has to use a wall charger and one uses a computer.

This mp3 player is cheap and gets the job done but it is accomplished without any other niceties. The menu is cumbersome and it is slow scanning through all of the music you put on it. That being said, my wife uses this just at the gym and it suits that role adequately.

This MP3 is inexpensive and sounds good if you get decent earbuds. So, if you break it or lose it, no big deal, just get another. One drawback, it is hard to select a particular file in bright light.

It works for me! Good for loud commuting and workout at the gym. Price is fair for what you get. Not the best sound quality but if you loose it or breaks down you don't feel the pain in your wallet, you just buy another one. It is a bargain.

This mp3 does the job for the price. I primarily use it when I exercise, the only downside on this mp3 player is that it does not hold the charge well compare to other mp3 players I've had in the past. It will only last 11/2hr max!
