I was excited to see that this item was going to be released at long last. I had purchased all the individual seasons as soon as each became available, but seasons 6 & 7 were never released on DVD until this set became available. Now that I have this item in-hand, I must say I'm very disappointed. Many people in various reviews have already mentioned how weak and susceptible to damage the packing is, but what I was not prepared for was how awful the video quality would be for the final two seasons. Seasons 1-5 appear to be the same transfers as the previous releases, which is a good thing, but seasons 6 & 7 were mastered with an incorrectly blended frame rate at 29.97 fps. While previous releases were encoded at 29.97-interlaced, which could be detelecine'd back to 23.98 fps easily without noticeable quality degradation, more than half of the episodes in seasons 6 & 7 were mastered with noticeable frame blending as well as interlacing, making it impossible to view the images with clarity, even after going through a detelecine process. As a viewer with an eye for quality, I find this completely unacceptable, and I'm frankly surprised that Mill Creek allowed this to pass even the most relaxed of quality assurance inspections (assuming they have such a thing, which it's beginning to seem they may not). Due to the poor video quality and the cheap packaging, I am forced to give this set a fairly low rating. The 2 stars earned are strictly for seasons 1-5, which were already available, and not produced by Mill Creek.

The quality of the episodes is ok. There are 10 or so episodes loaded on each disc. The storage is just a double-sided cardboard sleeve for each disc. Can't beat the price and the only way currently to get the show in a complete series, I believe.

Received order a week before I was supposed to which was excellent. Discover one would not load on any machine. Returned at store and they didn't have another one there.

I waited awhile for the box set to come out. It is a great series to watch.

I along with everyone else waited for the last 2 seasons of Mad About You. I didn't really want to purchase this set because of all the bad reviews. How cheap can you get! Lets put the discs in cardboard sleeves and not label them in any way so the customer can be good and confused when they try to view. I would not recommend this to anyone unless like me you just have to have those missing seasons. I hope they come out with those separately.
