This game is very different from any other game on consoles right now. It is a very interesting premise with a seemingly massive open world if you have the time for that type of game. I enjoyed the game, but did trade it in because I just don't have the hours available to sit down with it. I give the game a thumbs up for the parts I saw of it.

Mad Max did a great job with the mechanics, gameplay, RPG elements, and robust steam punk car combat. The story wasn't necessarily fantastic and most of the places seems like a check list kind of like Assassin's creed. If you want to fill up your time with a great post apocalyptic atmosphere and adequate combat system, then Mad Max is for you

Awesome combat, big open world, and cool automotive combat.

Plays a lot like Shadow of Mordor with a heavy focus on vehicles. Beautiful graphics, very smooth gameplay, fun characters, cool story... The game revolves around trekking around the land to find parts to build "The Magnum Opus", an ultimate car made for revenge- especially against Scrotus, the antagonist. Fun and addictive.

After watching a few YouTube videos of this game I decided to take a chance on it. I'm very happy I did. It reminds me a lot of the Batman Arkham series games, especially the Arkham Knight which is the last one in the series. It has a huge open world and you can fight multiple people at the same time and there's plenty of car combat too. It's a very fun game with plenty of hours that you can sink into.

This is a fun romp into the barren wastelands of the Mad Max universe. It plays like the love child between the Batman games, the Far Cry games and the Shadows of Mordor game. Lots of collectibles, you can upgrade your car, and upgrade your fighting abilities as well. It's a fun game that will keep you busy for a long time.

Fun game, lots of action, great combat, a lot of customizing your car

To be honest, my wife was the one who wanted this game. Watched her put some hours into it and soon after that found myself starting my own game! Loving it so far. Pulls a lot from the Batman game in the sense of the hand to hand combat, but that's really not a bad thing. Really enjoyable.

I don't know much about the game but I do know about the movie and if its just like the movie then it should be lots of fun to play I did hear from a lot of friends that they love the game so I just have to go to the store and pick it up myself I was recommended to this game so I would recommend this game to anybody else if you like action nonstop.

And I'm not done yet. This game has a ton of main mission and side quests, and you better collect as much scrap metal as you can, because all the upgrades require it (Car upgrades, player ability upgrades, etc). So far I haven't had a lot of opportunities to use the shotgun and the sniper rifle, let's face it, I never have enough ammo. That's why I focus mostly on punching and avoiding getting hit. You and R1 will become good friends. I do like the melee weapons, but they don't last long enough. I think Dead Island is more of a melee-oriented game than this one. My only caveat is that the game doesn't have a beginner/easy mode, there was one boss I had to fight three times to beat him. Of course, if you put on your thinking hat, you can find a way. If he's a brawler, you can do a roll and hit him from behind a bunch of times, then roll away. If there's fire, you can move away from it so your enemies walk into it. Overall, it's an entertaining game

This game simply is fun to play! Like other open world games you can do main missions to complete main story or go off and do lots of side missions. You can upgrade Max, his gear and his car! Graphics on the PS4 are awesome, driving is fun, easy to control. Hand to hand is a mix of Batman and Shadows of Mordor. This is a must have for your collection!
