Enjoyable new take on a old movie franchise.

After the release of Mad Max: Fury Road we got a game that while not directly tied in with the movie is tied in enough to make it familiar. Open world, with beautiful vistas, and great sense of place. The game play is familiar with good driving mechanics as well as decent had to hand combat. For a empty open world there is a ton to do. Some small bugs do crop up that can be frustrating but I enjoyed this one from beginning to end.

Was not expecting much out of this game, but after getting it at a bargain on black friday it has surprised me. The combat is similar to the Batman Arkham games and the open world is fun to drive around in and combat cars as you go around. It has all your normal open world tropes but in the Mad Max universe. anyone that likes the movies and open world games will find something to enjoy here

I had high hopes for this game after seeing Fury Road, after I got past the so so reviews and put a few hours in I can say this is an awesome tie-in. The world makes you feel immersed in the Mad Max universe. While all others are playing Metal Gear I can't get enough of this great game and hope they support it with some story DLC in the future.

I did not watch the movie of this and kind of bought it blindly. It plays a lot like Shadows of Mordor and the Batman series, but it has an interesting story that has a great finisher and I really enjoyed the leveling system on the main character himself and his car. Overall, it was worth the money.

i read the reviews online from several gaming websites. In my opinion most critics were overly harsh. I decided it to give it a try anyway after watching some gameplay videos and I am happy I did. It can get a bit repetitive at times, but it is a beautiful open world that is fun to explore and with some seriously fun gameplay. If you are on the fence, I say give it a try.

Take the driving/running of gta, the fighting of arkham knight, and the open world with tons of collectibles and activities from assassin's creed and you have a good idea of what Mad Max is like. It's fun with lots to do but gets a bit repetitive if you're a completion is like me.

If you ever enjoyed any of the recent BATMAN games then you will definitely enjoy the mechanics of this game. It is probably not as polished as batman but it is a very fun game. Customizing your car is fun and beating up your enemies feel satisfying. Considering how cheap you can pick up this title for, I would not pass this up.

As stated this is an INCREDIBLE open world game. If you've enjoyed Shadows of Mordor and all the Batman Arkham games, then you will absolutely LOVE Mad Max. Especially if you like the Mad Max movies because this is very faithful to the world and the character. There is loads to do that will no doubt keep you occupied for hours. I highly recommend this game.

While overall Mad Max borrows from past titles like Batman when it comes to combat, or Far Cry when it comes to the design of its open world and its activities, it still manages to stand out through its car combat. The story is also pretty compelling and manages to keep you invested even if some of the missions get repetitive after a while.

A post apocalyptic grand theft auto. It's hours of exploring the mad max world. With a variety of person and vehicle customization, you wil be glued to your game console for days. The bosses become a little repetitive and easy to kill when you get the hang of it.

I was not too excited about this game when I first heard of it until it came out and got to play it. The graphics are great, gameplay is like the Batman Arkham series, and the car combat is a lot of fun. The story is a pretty decent length but there are enough side missions and areas to explore to keep you busy for a while.

This is a must own for any Mad Max fan that loves games. The car combat is a lot of fun, and upgrading your Magnum Opus makes it even more enjoyable. There are many things to do throughout the wasteland and is an enjoyable experience throughout.

The game was well done. The combat was brutal and the twisted metal style car action was fun and intriguing. However I felt the game somewhat on the repetitive side. The story was slow at first but got much better towards the end of the game.

Game is pretty decent too. Gameplay is a pretty straight combination between Shadow of Mordor and Farcry. There's not a lot new there but the combination is fun. There's multiple layers of upgrade systems (Vehicles, Character AND bases) and a large, fun and engaging world to explore if you are into the setting.

This game does keep the mad max story but it tells in in a different way, this game has nothing to do with the movie. The game plays great, but there is a lot of repetition, This game can be compared to just cause series in how you have to travel to different enemy bases and destroy everything.

A good game, similar to Fallout, Skyrim and other open world games. One issue is one VERY difficult task that has many players leaving the game, according to comments on forums, at that point as they can't complete the task.

Best sand box game ever. Makes arkham knight look like a kiddy pool next to an Olympic lap pool. Great story line. Sick cut aways. Awesome 4 teir upgrade system (car, attributes, gear and base). Basically ull love this and end up wasting your life on it. It's a life sucker. Enjoy, i am.

The game is really fun and the open world is great. It is somewhat similar to the fighting style of the Batman Arkham series. The story itself doesn't go in depth, but the action and fighting make up for it a bit.

You never run out of things to do! Not very many games keep me playing hours/days at a time. Typically I beat them and then I'm done. This game has so many side quests that I've become obsessed with beating them all. :) great graphics. Great voice acting. Great story line.

My son and I are huge mad max fans. We also enjoy wasteland type games, like the borderlands and fallout series. This one has great graphics, loads of missions, and an open world type environment where you choose what to do next and make your own experience.
