If you've got nothing else to play, this will pass the time just fine.

My buying experience with bestbuy was good. I bought this game on cyber monday for $10. After playing the game for few hours, I just couldn't get inro it. This game was boring and I'm glad that I didn't pay full price.

Mad Max is a movie series that has had its ups and downs, and now the franchise is breaking into the video game world. At first glance I felt this game wouldn't be good. The reviews were very mediocre overall so I went in concerned that I wouldn't have fun, but I was wrong. No, it isn't a very ground breaking or original game, but is that always a bad thing? In this case, no.
You play as Max, of course, and drive around the desert wasteland doing missions, upgrading your skills, and upgrading your car. At times it can get a bit repeatitive, but that doesn't make it any less fun. The upgrade system is great, if not confusing at first. You can buy new parts for your car in order to make it faster, handle better, and just be stronger when in a battle.
The fighting style almost mimics that of the Batman Arkham or Assassins Creed series', but still has its own flavor to it. It definitely feels a bit tighter than Arkham, but more fluid than Assassins.
Its a fun game if you are looking for something to just sit down and play. But be warned, the amount of side things that pop up on your map will make you completely lose track of what your goal is and you will be spending hours fighting enemies and stealing their gas/scrap.

This game kind of came out of left field and surprised me with how fun it is. The only downside is that it can get a little bit repetitive. The fighting system is fun and there are a lot of little villages to explore. Car battles are a blast too.

Mad Max is a very entertaining open world game that has great car battles and a beautiful backdrop with a few interesting characters that help push the world to be somewhat believable for this desert wasteland the only real complaint is the missions can feel very repetitive one after another go to this place and kill everyone but at the same time the new unlocks you can get make combat in the car or on feet fun pulling awesome combos and seeing cars being destroyed in a great ball of fire is actually very satisfying the story is decent and overall controls are good if not slightly cluncky

It reminded me alot of shadow of mordor but in a mad max world. Love the graphics and story. The buttons are a bit weird but still a solid game.

This is an excellent open world game by the same developer that made the Just Cause series. You can unlock new abilities, upgrade your car with scrap, and other fun things. The story is appropriately crazy for a Mad Max game.

Mad Max isn't perfect - there's input lag, the activities are repetitive, and the story isn't all that great. That said, I couldn't stop playing it. First off, I love the setting. It's fun to explore this wasteland and find loot. Secondly, the graphics are beautiful. And lastly, the melee combat is similar to the Arkham games. So while not perfect, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I bought this game with the mentality that I would play it for about a week or so and then get rid of it. Not some much the case. I have put at least 14 hours into this game and I still have a ton of stuff to do. The best comparison to this game is Shadows of Modor with a large selection of vehicle customization. Hopefully there will be a sequel!

I make a watch of the movie and I thinks to myself, I want to be Mr. Tom Hardy. I like to play this game because it makes me feel like rough and tough man driving his car and shooting guns at the baddies with his hunchback friend. At first I was scared of Mr. hunchback friend as he tried to hurt my pooch but I have spent time with him and I have developed a good relations hip with him.

This game is non-stop fun and action. I couldn't stop playing (though I had to so I could go to work)! The scenery and images are amazing and the game has some of the nicest graphics I have seen. This is true to form Mad Max so fans will not be disappointed.

Loving the game. Hating the frame rate

+ Really nails the Mad Max world and characters. Graphics look pretty good and the environments feel perfect.
+ Fun to gather scrap to upgrade Max, your vehicles and outposts
+ What story that is there is pretty cool and keeps me interested
- Frame rate is horrible at times in this game. really struggles and is hands down embarrassing that a patch has not been released to help it.
- Combat is cool at first, but repetitive.
+/- Mission structure is repetitive, but I like that all of the areas that you go to feel unique enough and large.
