Whether you like the aesthetic of Mad Max or not, this is a fun game. Good combat, reminiscent of the Batman series, and really fun visceral car combat that feels really satisfying.

Great open world for exploring and combat like the Batman games. Some tasks can be tedious and repetitive however. Overall a great buy.

I started playing this game 4 hours everyday but after some time (when i reached the Big race mission where u have to defeat stank gum) I stopped playing. The difficulty is unnecessarily high in this mission and that turned me off. I am currently at road warrior level 16 and still I can't kill my teammate in the brawl. WTH!!! But that aside and maybe it's my own problem, the game is really fun if u like exploration. Things might get a bit repetitive, but for me the unlocks and upgrade was always a booster.

This may seem like a criticism and it really can be as the big desert is monotonous. However, it really gets you in the feel that you are alone and all you have is your car. Fun game but very awkward control scheme.

I'd read lukewarm reviews for this game when it came out, and hadn't seen the movie so I decided to wait for a price drop. After beating the game and putting a ton of time into it, I can say that definitely was a mistake. The hand-to-hand combat borrows heavily from the Batman Arkham games, which is a very good thing. It is brutal, fun, and never got old. I was weary of how the car combat would be handled but I ended up thoroughly enjoying it (especially once you get explosives involved!) The story didn't pick up until the end of the game, but it fit with the grim, gritty world of Mad Max.

Wasn't expecting much overall, but turned out to be a nice open world experience. Paid $10, well worth the price.

The controls are a little wonky (in particular the jumping) but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this game. Worth picking up at a decent price.

A pretty typical open world game where most of the world is empty and bland. The game mostly revolves around you driving to pretty similar locations to get upgrades for you car. On foot you get into fights that are similar to the Batman Arkham games, lots of countering and responding to enemy actions. It's wrapped up in a decent package, but it's all been done before.

Mad Max is absolutely huge, with hours worth of exploring and side missions to kill time. The vehicular and hand-to-hand (batman styled) combat is excellent. Overall this game is a fun addition to my xbox one library that I definitely don't regret buying.

Bought this game not knowing a whole about Mad Max. It was a cool open world and fun to drive around it. Thought the game lost its steam later on.
