These movies are just excellent for the time they were filmed. Just think about that time back in the '70 - '80, when they didn't have access to all the computer effects of these days, the imagination of the writer and producers to make these movies possible, as well as the people doing the stunts which were real people crashing car, not cars controlled by RC. The location selected to produce this film, one of the most dangerous countries in the world. The new Mad Max could be super cool, but nothing compared with the original ones, made with more sacrifice on them, with a master mind behind them.

I have always enjoyed the DVDs that combine multiple films on one disc. The only disappointing aspect is that those discs rarely have any room for extra materials. Regardless, I still am happy to own both of these great films!

Road Warrior is a classic for a multitude of great reasons. Now, take what made it so great, the dark and desolate apocalyptic tone… And add kids and Tina Turner. In short, Thunderdome sucks, but Road Warrior is amazing.

Two classic mad max movies at the price of a rental. Both movies are on the same disc, and don't really have any special features, but if all you want to do is watch the films, this is a great option.

I love both of these movies, I just wish that they would have included the first movie (Mad Max) in the set. The Road Warrior is actually the second movie and is sometimes referred to as Mad Max 2. The Road Warrior begins with a little flashback to Mad Max, so it would have been nice to watch that movie first. Otherwise though these are really good movies to watch, nothing made today can even come close.

We bought these movies because we liked the sequel that came out recently. We thought both movies were pretty good.

I had never seen these movies before and wanted to watch them in preparation of seeing the new mad max film. It turned out to be a great idea! Both of these movies were very good and also the new one was phenomenal.

I added this to my collection to complete the MAD MAX experience. I own all three movies and just wanted to make this an addition. I also own the Blu-ray versions of THE ROAD WARRIOR and BEYOND THUNDERDOME.

Picked this up before the new movie came out GLAD!

Absolutely awesome acting but bad actors. It could use a touch of cgi but I'm sure it isn't in their budget because Mel Gibson used it all in brave heart. Lawl

These two both gave me what I wanted from the first. More mayhem and action with some kind of an actual plot to both movies. Good addition to the home collection.

This is a great combo to have if you're into DVD format and not blu ray. I highly recommend it.

I am very happy with this product. For two older movies, the quality of bother is very good.
