Revenge Flick, Post-Apocalypse Style
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mad Max is some good old fashioned post-apocalyptic mayhem and violence wrapped in the story of a cop who has lost everything at the hands of a band of loser villians who he then hunts down one by one. The Australian backdrop still holds up as a familiar yet foreign setting for this alternate universe cops and robbers flick. Worth adding to the library of anyone who considers themselves a fan Revenge, Action, Adventure, or Sci-Fi Flicks. The sequels got worse as they went along. Road Warrior was about as (three-letter-word-for-happy) as it could get, and Beyond Thunderdome was, well, I'm not sure what that was. This is the classic, should have been left alone in my opinion.
