A really fun rhythm platformer with an interesting story. My biggest gripes with it however are the obstacles that occasionally appear out of nowhere in the later stages and the overall performance of the switch version. The frame rate often dips. It is still a very fun playthrough and you can try the demo out before you buy it on the switch if you are uncertain. My friend told me there is no demo for the PS4 version.

If you like rhythm games, this is a must play!! It's a really fun and unique hybrid of a platformer and a rhythm game that is surprisingly story based!! The whole package has a lot of charm and I haven't been able to put it down.

If you like rhythm games and play formers you can’t go wrong here.

Thank goodness you guys had this game that we could order and have it delivered to the house. My daughter spent days looking and she found it close to home. She said it was worth the wait and she is right, she is already drawing him at home.

Mad Rat Dead is a very colorful, energetic, dark comedy game about a rat who has one day to try and make any dream of his come true. The art style reminds me of Muse Dash somewhat and is an absolute treat as you tap along to the beat. The music has legends from all across the music/rhythm game world collaborating and making amazing pieces of music to dash, jump, and ground pound your way through levels full of hazards and enemies. For anyone who is a fan of Crypt of the Necrodancer, Cadence of Hyrule or Muse Dash this is a must have in your game library!
