I did not think this would be very interesting when I saw the previews for the show, but saw a portion of an episode, and became intrigued. I grew to like West Wing, and did not think I would ever find a show like that again. The writing is amazing, and the stories explain current political events in layman's English, and don't appear too biased.

Madam Secretary is a great show that has great plot lines each week that make each episode go by fast leaving you anxiously awaiting next weeks episode with a great cast. With the DVD set you won't have to wait each week and can see as many episodes as you want at one time. Great!

The truly amazing that about a show dealing in the world of politics is that you are unable to determine if the main characters (POTUS, Secretary of State) are liberal or conservative. Great casting (Tim Daly, Keith Carradine, Bebe Neuwirth) and great story lines each episode.

An excellent way to learn a little about how government works. The story lines are interesting and current in both the professional story and the personal story of the characters.

One of the shows I most look forward to each week. Great writing with a from the news feel to the stories. You will not be disappointed in buying this item.
