Gameplay has been stepped up quite a bit, but the overall details in the game are in need of improvement. Lack of referees on the field during gameplay, football field yardage markers, etc., need to be considered for Madden '09. This game is going on it's third year for next gen consoles, and the people at EA cannot figure this out? Wow!

Madden 08 is much better than 07... no doubt about it, but there are some flaws. One thing i didnt like was that when you are running the ball you fumble way to much and when you throw the defender is always in the right spot at the right time to pick it off. other than that the graphics and other features (ring builder, create a stadium) were cool and i would definitly recommend Madden 08 to all of you reading this.

This is one of my favorite games just because of some of the new features. One of the new features is create a team you can make a team, customize the jerseys, field, stadium and you can pick what your team will be good at like runing, passing or they might be all madden. I would recomend this game to anybody even if you hate football. If you dont own it go but it tomorrow.

As usual this Madden is a great game and is fun to play. A few changes to help make it a little smoother overall, but not necessarily enough that makes you "have" to get it if you have '07. Overall it's a good game and I recommend it, whether you're a die-hard Madden fan or not.

this game is good, if you want this game and undecided then i would lean towards buying it, what can i say the graphics are good, sound is good the game play is improved this year because the players have ratings the game runs smooth and would buy this game if your undecided.

Love this game after purchasing it from BB online. Great graphichs, and the player AI is better than the previous versions of madden. The play meny is easier to use and can choose and action quicker. Would recommend this game to the football game lovers.

This game is definitely the best Madden game of its franchise. If you're the type of person who's looking for something new, this really doesn't have it. But if you're looking at the game play, this game is a major must. The online play is way better with less lag and you can actually challenge plays now. Also, this game brought back what everyone wanted, which is the fantasy draft for franchise mode. In Superstar mode, you can actually play as a rookie which is a big plus on everyone's side. The weapons system has brought major success to the game, which displays the weaknesses and strengths of everyone's game. So if there's a mismatch, you'll be able to identify where it is and where you should go. If all you players want a game that is for the game play get this game. IT'S THE BEST MADDEN OUT, and it's gonna rock all your minds when you get in the game.

Visuals are stunning, and the play is getting better. Still have an issue with the on-line play. Would like to see 4 players (2 vs. 2) as well two on the same team (co-op) over xbox live. Pretty easy to recommend this one though. Solid football sim.

the madden frachise although bashed for not being innovative is still the best sports game in my opinion. this game has great online play, but also has a good single player. this game is very fun and is recommended to any football fan.

Great game as as always. This game continued the tradition of great madden games. With outstanding graphics and improved player control, this is the best football game on the market. Also great tackling and defense controls.

Finally the Boys at EA are starting to get things right, After waiting and playing every Madden they have started to make this a much better game, You gotta love the "Icons" that some of the players get, Smart safety's read your plays if you keep playing them over and over, no more "Stupid" AI, Smart QB's get to read your defense plays if you keep playing them over, which is great, no more spamming the same play over and over. It does look like they put some extra time in this years version of Madden, the game play is as simple as ever, no more juking through the line, or your chances of fumbles increase 80% All- Madden setting is still god like, thank god for game sliders. Still need some fixes as if you edit any drafted rookies they will make them 26 years old.

Madden 08 is the best sports football game ever. EA keeps improving the game every year. The graphics are amazing and the game is so smooth. The superstar mode is great as well. The only bad part is that you fumble a lot, but this is a minor flaw. I would most definitely recommend this game.

This is just nonsense! First of all, Madden (considering it IS called MADDEN '08) or Michaels aren't even the spokesmen. After every play, there's always someone dancing or showing off like a ten year old. It's bad enough that real football players act that immature on real football, but I didn't think they had to put it in video games. The only reason I'm giving this two stars rather than zero is because the graphics are great. After I sent this review, I'm selling this junk on eBay.

The game is much better than madden 07 and puts you in more control. The gameplay is smoother. the new weapons features help you exploit mismatches instead of having to check every players ratings for speed, catching, carrying, etc. Its a great buy and I would highly recommend it.

This is an awesome Madden Game. Get it now while it is only like thirty dollers! This is an average game if you want to do a season... but if you have freinds over you can have a hardcore tournament.

everything on this game is great. the only thing i still dont like is the play calling.. letting the other person see what your choosing even though you can fake a call. but other then that... the graphics, game play, tackles is terrific. I would highly recommend this game

this game is a great,there is awsome graphics,awsome catches by wide recivers,hard hits on defence ,hit stick 2.0. i reccomend getting xbox live for this game ,you get espn radio,roster updates,and good competiton.this is a great multiplayer game.a variety of game modes.

I thought last year's Madden was a big dissapointment compared to '06. I thought '06 was really fun to play while '07, in an attempt to be too realistic, made the game unnecessarily complicated. Luckily, EA brought the fun back for Madden '08. The wierd part is that I got the PS3 version as a gift and I played both versions, and lo and behold, the 360 is better. For some reason, the PS3 version is not 1080p compatible, so the Xbox version looks better! The only thing I don't like about Madden '08 is the kick/punt feature which is like the '07 game. I totally hated that they changed the punt/kick feature from '06 which I think is far superior.

A lot different from last years, play calling format is changed and graphics are outstanding. You can't beat this game holding the only NFL license for NFL football games.

this is the best madden to date. which doesn't say much madden is always good but this one is nice. the controls are better, the defense is more challanging, better graphics, better running, the game is just better over all. definate buy
