Best madden yet but the MUT is not as good in some areas. Player ratings are pretty low but probably more realistic though. Love the new challenges and short quarters.

Amazing graphics and game play. Personally a step up from previous years menu options and game play. Sometimes could be mistaken for a real game to casual observers.

I just recently started buying Madden because they didn't make ncaa football anymore so this is the second year I bought it. While passing and running has had serious upgrades I think defense took a step back.

Great graphics , love the game play, and the player controls are sick with running and catching the ball. The hits are more serious and the sound effects are legit!

I hadn't purchased a Madden Game since the Mid to late 2000's. At that point the game was getting a bit stale. I took a chance on this years version and I absolutely love it. Graphics make the players look as close to real as I have ever seen. Substantially better than past years. The play is a bit more challenging and their are new features on this game that give you more to play. The receiving catches are amazing. The only thing I don't care for is, there is a lot of loading time. But I assume it is needed to run the games graphics as they are amazing. Totally worth the loading times.

Great all around realistic football game. New controls for catching the ball and defending the ball. More accurate controls for passing with the new lob passes.

My 9 year old is the primary gamer in the house, and he quickly jumped right into Madden 16 based on his previous Madden experiences. I picked up the controllers for the first time in a while and also quickly got the hang of it. The graphics are much better, and the players actually look like the real deal. There are a ton of tutorials on not just controlling the players, but reading defensive and offensive schemes. Pretty impressive. If you're a Madden fan, you'll still like it. If you're new to NFL football on a PS4 - can't be too many better options out there than Madden.

Good passing game, running game is weird, not very agile. Fantasy draft is cool. The rest seems the same with some graphical improvements. Wait til is is $20 to buy, then it will be worth it. Thanks

Total control in passing and catching (defense is less impactful) takes this one over the top. Gang tackling and animations have also been improved. Love it.

They brought the realistic level down a bit much. They even acknowledge it in a way. They made the likelyhood of penalties more realistic to match an in game. What that did from everything I've seen was create a pre snap glitch where a defender will randomly out of a huddle run into an opponent while both teams are preparing to line up and then gives an encroachment penalty to the defense. I like the new penalty where a defense jumping early can create an offensive linemen to make a move and get the neutral zone infraction. I've seen a magnitude of hand to face masks in the game with NO penalty. Also have yet to witness a single pass interference or defensive holding, although I've seen receivers knocked off their route. The passing game new controls remind of a receiver version of the old QB vision. I might be the only person ever to have liked QB vision, but with all the other upgrades after that year, it had to go. These receiver options are blasphemy. The game is about timing. Well the real life game is. Madden has turned this into a touchable football show, not a game. Example: to manually catch a ball, now all you do is choose one of three different types of catch buttons and hold it down while the receiver runs to the ball marker. I've taken pride over the years performing user timed catches and interceptions. Everything about this game reminds me of a coin flip. 49ers RB Hyde escapes a bear hug from Ndamukong Suh and then runs for a TD. It's like the coin flipped with a 50/50 chance and Hyde won when in reality his chances should be 98-2 for that scenario. Same for passing and catching. A ball in the air up for grabs has no meaning. I've seen played where Dez Bryant gets a ball knocked out his hands after ample time to secure it. He dropped 12 passes in one game. While Mohammed Sanu held on to 12 catches with more coverage and impact from defenders. EA has applied TOO MUCH AI. They are trying to make the outcome of each game about percentages of reality per team, but failed to remember that this is about the gamer. If someone doesn't have their player in the right place, he shouldn't automatically get an edge on the play because the likelihood of that play happening in real life. If a gamer is going screw up, they should be allowed to be exploited. I have the remote. I want to play the game, not let the game dictate itself. I hope here are updates to fix some of the silliness I've seen so far. I've compiled a bunch of video clips to send to EA for example.

This game has gotten better over the years. I love how more realistic it has gotten. Still has some Madden glitches but an overall solid showing. Still needs improvement on the presentation aspect.

First off, the exchange program Best Buy has to trade in your old Madden 15 and get coupons and pre-order discounts (on top of GCU discounts) is amazing. In total, I only had to spend $10 out of pocket to get this next iteration. The game itself is a great improvement from 15. The expanded options on how to not only throw passes, but also how to receive them really adds a new dimension to this game. I feel like I have a lot more control over every minor detail and I don't get as frustrated with the computers dropping catches that should be easy or allowing them to get picked.

This Madden has me so excited for this upcoming NFL season to start. The graphics and realism make this the best Madden ever. Worth every penny for sure!!!

I love all of the additions made to the game such as new gauntlet boss levels, the WR aggressive, run after catch, and possession catch mechanics. My two biggest complaints are for the PS4 version of this game you cannot perform a squib kick anymore. Apparently there was a glitch when they made the game and just removed the mechanic instead of fixing it. This potentially allows for a game ending TD to be scored by Fair Catching a ball. Also, when throwing the ball short distances with a bullet pass, the catch mechanics seem to be not extremely responsive which for me yields some incompletions that shouldn't be incomplete. Overall though, the game is a much better play than Madden 15

I haven't played Madden since 2008, but this was probably the perfect time to jump back in. The graphics are excellent, and the games feel more like a real game simulation than ever before. The additions of catch types you can select for different situations (RAC, possession and spectacular/contested) give you much more control over how the receiver should catch the ball. The addition of Draft Champions game mode is perfect for fantasy football nuts and adds infinite varied replayability. I'm loving the game and am glad I chose this year to jump back into the series.

This version of Madden is by far superior to any other version of madden I've played. I've been a madden fanatic since madden started way back in the early 90's. It has grown so much and the game has such details that would almost only see In a real world football game. I'm very happy with madden 16 and cannot wait until madden 17 is out. If you are considering buying this game. I say do it. You will be amazed with the workmanship and gameplay details that it offers. Players play like they do in the real NFL. This is definitely a first rate football game!!

If you're a fan of Madden....buy this. This year's edition is the most realistic yet. The new modes that the game offers is unique (draft your own fantasy team) and play a 3 game tournament.

Madden 16 is exactly what you would expect. Fun and simple if you want, or you can really dig deep with all the features. Fun for all types of gamers

This game is everything we hoped it would be...the graphics are truly amazing, the background features are getting more lifelike with each new year.

Madden 16 is a great game. The graphics and game modes are great. They update and add content every week. This is one of the best sport games out!
