Started playing madden series again about 3-4 years ago and it's been a solid game including this year. Only complaint is there are some glitches within the connected franchise mode but it's nothing that keeps you from progressing throughout seasons. 99% of my time on madden is in the connected franchise mode so that is the only part I can really comment on. No complaints with it but nothing really new

Great game with awesome graphics and it is so real

I love madden, best football game for the home consoles. a must buy for any NFL fan.

As a long time Madden fan, I am satisfied with this game. Roster, skill level, and commentary are continually up to date with what is currently happening in the NFL season. The extra points actually require focus when playing on 'All Madden' and in my opinion, the game is getting more realistic as time goes on.

This years Madden has some pretty groundbreaking change. Considering previous titles and features, this is one of the more packed feature sets in probably a decade. MUT squads, Longshot, and Play Now Live, all together with a new engine make this the most desirable Madden in years. Definitely worth buying!

This is actually my first Madden game so I don't have any baggage from previous ones, so maybe this is not that helpful. But I'm having a lot of fun with the surprisingly dexterity-necessary moves and jukes and spins and what have you and the graphics look great in 4K on Xbox One X. I also appreciate the beginner-friendly difficulties. You don't even need to know football rules.

This madden hit the nail on the head. I like how the action is more realistic Vs the slower pace of previous years. The spin, juke, and hurdle happen almost like in real life making the running game deadly. And on defensive interception opportunities come fast if you can capitalize on mismatches.

Let's be real, with no competition madden just becomes stale, the gameplay is still good and graphics are bumped up a bit but nothing to really make it fresh, every year they add a new focus or gimmick. If you like football and need to have updated roster then well this is your only option, if you're ok to play with outdated rosters then save your $.

This is hands down the best Madden game I’ve played in quite some time. I was a huge fan of the NFL 2K games before they ceased to exist. This Madden is the most fun I’ve had with a football game since those 2K games. The story mode is also really interesting and engaging.

What a game, first time playing madden in a long time and it is great. I grew up on the Franchise but lost interest in the last few years but decided to pick it up and give it a shot cu I needed a sports game to play and I am glad I did. Best football game ever.

What can be said about the Madden franchise that hasn't been already been said? Slight improvements from last years version. Visually,game play is pretty flawless. Just wish they would be more inventive on cover designs.Otherwise always a sure bet for gaming.

The tutorials and the scenario generator is realistic and has been a superb learning tool for my 9 year old. He is learning to read defenses, offenses, and understand the game at a higher level. The graphics on the game play is the best Madden so far.

Although I would consider it an incremental upgrade over the previous edition of this game, Madden NFL 2018 for the XBox One is a great addition to your library if you're a football fanatic. Enhanced graphics with Frostbite engine and the Longshot feature are some of its best attributes - I highly recommend it!

Grandson was thrilled to get Madden 18 as his Halloween "Treat". He didn't have to wait for Christmas to upgrade from Madden 17...Great news to him as he finally won the Super Bowl in 17! He looks forward to the annual upgrade with new players.

I buy Madden every other year, so the last Madden I bought was Madden 16. Madden 18 offers a graphical improvement with 4k enhancement on the Xbox One X. The game itself is fun and responsive. I have no complaints really, it is fun to play.

Downloaded the game, kicked it on, had Ben Roethlisberger surgically break my will before halftime, and reassured that I hate football because of the Browns. 5 star 'member berry. Better than Madden 17. Still can't touch Madden '08.

As always, EA does not disappoint with their latest Madden 18. A must have for any football fan. I really enjoyed the Longshot story mode. You get to play as Devin Wade as he makes his way through high school, college, and the NFL.

I love the new madden 18 game. The long shot on madden 18 was kind of a let down. If you get drafted in long shot you still don't get to continue as the player you are in long shot. But other than that madden 18 is a great game.

Game falls in line with every other Madden. Longshot is ok, but seeing as I'm an OU fan, I kind of hate playing as a former Longhorn. I would have liked to see some sort of option to choose your college or something. Good game, good graphics, always fun to pop in and play a game to relax.

Just like every other madden, with one noticeable different, the mini story game 'longshot'. was pretty good but a bit convoluted with cut scenes you couldn't skip, but definitely made it a different style of Madden for sure.
