Great classic game, worth the buy, can't stop playing it 24/7 to the point I'm always late for work

Mafia: Definitive edition is perfect remake. I haven’t played the original one on PlayStation 2 but it’s a more updated version. There’s few bugs here and there. And the driving is painful. But the game is real good especially the story.

Had the PC version of this game years ago. Still remains my favorite story line out of any game to date. My only gripe is that for the Xbox version they edited the voices of some of the characters and changed the story/ some of the missions from the original. The original also had more things to be aware of in the game. Had to get fuel for vehicles, had to stop at red lights or risk getting a ticket, and it was cool that vehicle's turn signals used to automatically flash when turning. That being said, the graphics were much better than the original. Still a fun game, just not what I was expecting is all.

I love the Mafia Series, so when this got announced it was a no brainer purchase for me. It does justice to the series, this is a TRUE Remaster of this game. Many companies just increase the resolution and keep the game the same and because of this some games look terrible when it gets remastered. That's not the case with Mafia II, if you didn't know this was an older game you wouldn't be able to tell due to how amazing this game looks. A true ground up remake, my only complaint for this game has nothing to do with this game itself but rather the definitive edition sequels. I hate that Take Two didn't make a Physical Versions of Mafia II (My favorite in the series) and Mafia III. Also in International Markets they released all 3 games bundled into one, Take two should have really done this, other than that I love the game. Great graphics, music, and a story to kill for (no pun intended). Totally worth a play through for both new and returning players.

Great remaster! A little buggy, but a lot of fun.

I didn’t play the original but I’m loving the remake, pretty looking game with a good story .... it’s a shooter and some of the controls are a bit dated but overall the game is a blast.

Wow! I can’t believe I waited this long to play this game. First off, I’m a sucker for the 1930’s - 1950’s aesthetic, so I knew I’d enjoy this game just for that but I didn’t expect to be given such a well told story. It almost felt like a Rockstar game. I enjoyed how linear this game was, every cutscene had my full attention. I only had a couple of bugs playing on the Series X. I only wish the game was enhanced for it! Anyways, this game was awesome and WELL worth the 14.99 I payed for it.

Great remake of Mafia on Xbox One. The original Mafia game came out in 2002 and was great for its time. The new remake does a great job of recreating that experience for modern day consoles and enhancing everything from graphics to gameplay. Game has some fantastic missions and is a blast to play.

Awesome remake of a classic! You really feel like you are a part of this 1920's mobster world. Beautiful graphics, gameplay is crisp, and the story is awesome! For some it may be too linear for what is considered an open world game but I think the balance is perfect. Must own for fans of mobster/mafia games or movies.

This was a fantastic remake of an excellent game! I loved the original game and this has been remastered for x box one. The story line is great and you can choose different paths based upon the actions you choose. This is one of those games you will want to keep and play on a rainy day or a cold weekend when you have a nostalgic feeling.

Its good but there are some glitches but I'm sure they will fix it i definitely recommend if you want to play oldschool mafia

I honestly didn't know what Mafia was about and saw it on sale. Picked it up and a great story to go with a great open world environment. Completed all three games and waiting for Mafia 4 to be released.

Wow, they did a good job recreating this game with new graphics. I loved the second game in the franchise and really wanted to play the first one. This game is a good treat for those who like the Mafia series. It plays similar to Mafia 3 but with a better story and game mechanics.

I remember playing the original many years back. The graphics are outstanding. The story is so good it’s hard not to get stuck in it. This I believe is one of the all times best single player story’s out there.

Mafia Definitive Edition is true reimagaing of the title that started it all. Carefully remaking Mafia 1 to modern standards in this ground up remake. While expanding and staying true to the original story.

I remember playing the original back in the day, and loved the game. This remastered version is above and beyond better. Amazing visually, compared to the first one, plus a few extra add-ons. Only complaint is I ran into a few glitches. But it ain't a deal breaker.

A beautiful remaster to one of my favorite classics. Dont look too deep into the shooting mechanics its a 20 year old game or whatever what do you expect. Play this for the story and enjoy it!
