If you like Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row and any other third person role playing games then this is the game for you. The actual style of the game relates more towards the GTA games in the way of realism no flying super kicks or powers. Again another time era game and this time your not the Italian but a Veteran looking for revenge but managing to start your own family. if you played Mafia 2 which is the only one I've ever played stay true to that but more improvements in decision making and getting underbosses with perks, once again nothing ridiculous like super powers but payoffs, car service and gun service. Really fun game to play over again.

top notch story & gameplay. Graphics could be better, but I don't believe it takes away from the game.

not for the younger kids because it throws the racism right in your face, but this game is amazing. If there were a Mafia 4 preorder option, i'd be on it right now.

This has an amazing story and you become immersed in the world of Lincoln Clay from the first moments. The soundtrack is amazing!!!

I loved previous Mafia games and if this was out years ago, it would be a fantastic game. But in comparison to other sandbox, open world games, it leaves a lot to be desired. Missions are very repetitive and the game has a lot of bugs. I would recommend it for the right price or for Mafia fans because it is a good time waster but there are better open world games out there.

+ Storytelling of this game is fantastic; like watching a movie. +Same solid gameplay as the Mafia II - Gameplay flow seems a bit unorganized. Some side missions require you to travel to places incredibly far from the starting area. - Can a get a bit repetitive in terms of mission types.

The gameplay and story are great but, the glitches make it difficult to play. It randomly freezes or returns to the home screen. It happens a lot. Until they release patches to fix these issues, it is borderline unplayable.
