This game falls short as an open world game. It has an EXCELLENT story though. It's worth a play through for the story alone. There's also a branching path you can take, with choices that impact the ending. My character never felt much stronger and the AI isn't the most intelligent, so the strategies you develop initially work throughout the game.

This is an amazing video game in terms of story. You would like more games to have the courage to treat their stories with such a care and love. Unfortunately the gameplay and technical issues makes the experience very weak. The AI is just horrendous, and some graphics , lightings and bugs makes the game not deserve of a better consideration.

I'm about half way through the game and it seems great! great graphics and story line. a little repetitive but still worth getting.

Mafia III has promise and has a lot of potential to be a great game. Unfortunately the developers failed to deliver in so many ways. Mafia III story is set in an open world. The story and voice acting itself is magnificent. And there are some enjoyable gameplay moments, just not enough to keep you entertained throughout the long campaign. The issue is that the open world it is set in is subpar and in many cases just broken. Subpar elements: The lighting and textures, more glitches than should be acceptable in a game like this, and the absolute dumb AI and repetitive gameplay. Is Mafia III horrible? No, but it sure aint great and not worth $60 in my humble yet often correct opinion. - Wait for a sale - a big one!

Title basically says it all. The story was pretty good, but the gameplay got stale after a while.

Not as indepth at all like GTA5, but it is entertaining none-the-less. I am a little biased because I ahve always been a fan of the Mafia series. Yes, some things do get repetitive and I wish there was a way to fast travel to other locations, but it feeds my need to go around shooting bad guys.

There are a lot of things to love about this game: the graphics are great, the soundtrack is too, and the core gameplay is really solid, particularly the driving segments which are excellent.

If you played the other 2 mafia games you will love this one. Lots of fun playing a gangster.

Pretty fun game so far! Love the timeline and the music. Storyline seems pretty in depth so far. Graphics could use an upgrade and if you remember the original Spider man games on PS2 they went that rout with the bad guys and they all look the same. If you can snag it on sale go for it!

Mafia III is a good follow up from the second game, although there's a lot less customization for the character specifically. But overall there's a pretty solid story and it's action packed for almost all of the game. Players will get some decent hours of gameplay from this game.

Best game in series so far...very fun to play. Huge open world concept only complaint is there is no fast travel

Good story but I expected more variety from the game. Some of the missions got a little routine after a while. It's a lot of the same thing over and over, but it still keep your interest and provides enough of a challenge to keep it interesting. Quite graphic but immersing.

Good game is a Christmas gift hope to enjoy if you like GTA you would this one too

Storyline is good. Not to keen on someone of the gameplay but overall a good game.

Quite a bit of racist commentary, but a realistic setting based in 1960s New Orleans. Gameplay is outstanding, with the exception of the long movie scripts between stages.

I like it it's a good game for action lovers and every PS4 players must try it

Mafia III is a great starter for anyone looking to get into the Mafia games. It ties in with past titles while giving players an entirely new world, and characters. The graphics are great, the story is incredible, and the gameplay is very enjoyable! The case is also beautiful with an iridescent glow to it that makes it stand out. Any gamers looking for a good game franchise to get into need to look no further.
