Got on clearance son loves the 1950’s themes and music

This game is just a little buggie which takes away from the overall playability.

So far the game seems to be more of a movie with some game play in it.

Buy Mafia 2 instead, far superior game. While Mafia 3 has a decent story, the gameplay and multiple technical issues ruin the experience.

I have played all of the Mafia games and was really looking forward to the third installment, but after reading all of the negative reviews, I had decided to wait for a price drop to get the game. I started playing the game when it had received all of the patches. While performance is perfect on my PC, there are some glitches available. The missions are not much fun once it gets repetitive, and the AI can be really clueless/glitchy, but the story and graphics are the positives. The audio and music is top notch, the open world is nothing special compared to other open world games though. Mafia 3 is better as a rental, or a game to have if found in the bargain bin.

I throughly enjoyed Mafia III for the PC. I'll be quite honest, I am not sure why people didn't enjoy it as much. The graphics are amazing, gameplay is a lot of fun, and the story is really enjoyable. What else can I ask for? My only complain was the lack of customization in the game but they kind of fixed it in a post release patch.

For now (day 1), this game isn't worth your time. Capped at 30fps, poor textures, glitches, crashes, and virtually no controller support. After the patches come out to address these (and other) issues, you should definitely buy this game. The story is awesome and well told. If you're like me and just can't wait then go ahead and try it. Otherwise, wait until it's stable.
