Perfect outdoor patio speakers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchase this bundle on sale for $799. At the full price I still think these are good speakers with the Amp, but you would be able to by the amp and some more speakers for the same price. If you’re in the Sonos ecosystem these are great! The amp along is $600 plus so to get these speakers for another $200 is great. I’m very happy with the purchase. Best of all, wifey loves it too so WIN WIN

Exceeded expectations!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup outdoors on the deck facing the pool. Amp has plenty of power to the speakers to over come the highway noise. Ease of Sonos App to control playback and volume are one of the best. The remote that comes with this package does require an Apple product to set it up though (no android allowed).

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This set is fantastic. I have Sonos throughout my whole house and this is a great addition for the back deck. The installation is easy and the setup is quick and painless. Amazing and Rich Sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sonance 2-Ch outdoor streaming music system is essentially two high quality Sonance speakers connected (wired) to a Sonos amp which can connect (via WiFi) to the many different streaming services and allows you to stream via a service of from your media library from your phone. So to be clear, the speakers must be wired (not included) directly to the amp. However, the amp and streaming can be done wireless from your phone or the included iPort audio keypad. OUT OF THE BOX/BUILD QUALITY: My system arrived in a very box that had seen better days and I was a little worried that the contents might have been damaged. You may not realize it, but not all boxes are made to be be shipped and most will have specific designations on them indicating as such. This box is definitely not made to be shipped. More likely, multiple units of this system would be packaged in a larger, more sturdy box that can handle the abuse of shipping. Thankfully, there was no damage to the components of the system. You can tell by the feel and weight and feel of the speakers that they are premium quality. I'm not a fan of white on any kind of technology since it has a tendency to oxidize (turn yellow) or just get dirty. I would've preferred black since it is timeless in my opinion and doesn't show age nearly as bad as white. Black would have also matched the included Sonos amp which is not weatherproofed so it must be kept inside or in a weather controlled area. I would recommend inside to minimize damage that extreme temperatures might cause on the components. SETUP: Instructions on setup and mounting were included and I found them to be sufficient enough to mount the speakers on my parents patio. Some quick wire placement and I had it connected to the amp in no time (after the mounting bit). Setup of the amp was effortless and unlike many companion apps that I've had the displeasure of reviewing, the Sonos app is actually easy to use and functional. The iPort audio keypad seems a bit redundant since functions are controlled via your phone, but I can see where some people would find it useful. I think it'll end up my 'odds and ends/ draw where things go to get lost. SOUND QUALITY: I'm a huge fan of quality over quantity as far as sound goes. I would much rather feel effortlessly immersed in the audio and enveloped in it's quality than be blown away by volume. These speakers do just that AND they also pack quite a punch as far as volume. They are meant for large outdoor spaces so that makes sense. However, we've all heard the tinny, flat, and sometimes distorted sounds produced by some outdoor speakers...You won't get ANY of that with the Sonance speakers. You hear all of the highs, all of the lows, and everything in between. Yes, the speakers are at a premium price point, but they are so worth it as they can completely change how you experience music outdoors. Music is no longer background noise, it becomes a complimentary part of the atmosphere and can transport you to places far away depending on what you are listening to. Obviously, I'm very impressed and I'm sure you will be too. Pros: Ease of setup/connection Wide variety of music streaming choices--including your own music library from your phone. Build quality Sound quality Cons: White color speakers (personal preference, but will likely show age over time) Price could be a deterrent for some, but good sound is worth every penny you pay! System arrived in a box that did not hold up well during shipping.

High-performance outdoor sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In case it isn't clear from the product description, this system consists of a pair of Sonance outdoor speakers, a Sonos Amp, and an iPort Xpress Wi-Fi remote controller. Sonance and iPort are the same company; Sonos is another company. So Sonance bundles together everything you need and doesn't charge extra for the integration and you get everything you need except for speaker wire. If you already have a Sonos ecosystem, it's easy to add this kit to it. You just add the Sonos Amp to your existing Sonos setup. If you don't have Sonos already, you need to set up a free account with them, get the app for your smartphone or computer, and follow the easy instructions. There are clear instructions in the box and the app setup walks you through everything step by step. The speakers and amp sound great and play LOUD if so desired. The voicing of the speakers is definitely skewed for outdoor use. They sound much better outside than they do inside. Mine are mounted under the eaves on my deck and the sound is fantastic, even at very low volumes. My best compliment for the Amp is that there's not much to say about it, it just works and it is plenty powerful. The iPort remote is an interesting beast. it works over Wi-Fi, which is great because you don't need to be at all near the Amp to control it, and you don't need to use the Sonos app on your phone, tablet, or computer to control the basic Sonos functions. Which is very handy since the speakers are mounted outside and the Amp is inside a cabinet inside my house. Of course installing the speakers outside can be a project depending on your house layout, where you put the speakers, etc. Since the speakers are outside and the Amp is inside, and the two are connected with speaker wires, you have to run wires from inside your house to outside for each speaker. If you are relatively handy, you can do it yourself - I did. Or you can get help from a handy friend or a professional. The included speaker mounting brackets are versatile and the instructions for them are decent. Really, my biggest surprise was that the iPort remote REQUIRES an iOS device to configure it. No Android! And that iOS device must be running iOS 11 or higher. The only iOS device I had was a 4th-generation iPad which can only run up to iOS 10. So if you don't have a compatible iOS device you will need to borrow one from a friend. I just broke down and bought a new iPad, I've been planning on doing that anyway. Setting up the remote takes about 5 minutes and the iPort website has a very helpful video that walks you through setup in an easy to understand way. Another note - this setup DOESN'T have a couple things you may think should be standard-issue these days - NO Bluetooth connectivity, and NO voice-assistant integration. Neither are things I need or want with this setup. However, if you already have Amazon Alexa devices they CAN be used to control the Sonos Amp if you install the Sonos skills for it. I don't know about Google's system since I don't have that. And you could add Bluetooth via an inexpensive receiver you can plug into the line input on the amp. I have my system configured to stream music from Tidal, Amazon Music, and Plex Media Server. It also easily streams music from your phone or computer. The Sonos app makes it easy. The Sonos app also includes bass and treble controls to tailor the sound to your liking. Those controls are not in an obvious location in the app but once you set them you can forget them. Just having those settings available is a huge plus. Overall, this is a sophisticated, polished, and great-sounding system that brings it all outdoors for you. I love it!

Get this bundle package before it goes away.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This bundle is preposterous! The amp itself goes for $650 alone. The speakers are so loud with unbelievable clarity. I purchased two additional speakers so that I could have 4 speakers on 4 corners of my deck.

Love these speakers
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound and ease of install was great. I am not a tech guy, so with the slide locking brackets and the front facing, spring loaded banana plugs the install was a breeze.
