    Bruce Is Back

This is Bruce at his best. He has harkened back to his rock & roll roots, and put out his best work in a while. Each song is its own piece of work, and they meld together effortlessly to create a classic. 'Girls in Their Summer Clothes' brings back the feel of a summer on the shore. Plus, while he makes his politics clear, it is neither pedantic or overbearing. Nothing against some of his more recent work, but this starts with a bang, 'Radio Nowhere', and takes you along for a great ride. He didn't reinvent himself, he found himself.

    The Boss Is Back

Bruce Springsteen is one of the only icons of rock who still writes great albums that sound like his classics from the seventies and eighties. "Magic" is a great example of this. You truly know what he's thinking and feeling when he wrote each song. "Radio Nowhere" sounds exactly like something off one of the earlier albums. "Gypsy Biker" also sounds exactly like one of the Boss's true classics. Just to mention a couple. Don't miss a chance to hear one of the best albums ever written by the best song writer of all time.

This is the last great accomplishment of the full E Street Band with founding member Danny (Phantom) Federici. It's full of sound, passion, political jabs, social commentary and those classic themes Bruce has addressed for over 35 years. Girls In Their Summer Clothes is THE song of this season so expect to hear it blasting from car stereos as me and fellow Springsteenians light up the highways of Jersey.

The Boss is back !! This is a great album. From the lead off song and single "Radio Nowhere" to the last note of the disc, this release is entertaining throughout. Some of the songs are reminiscent of old Bruce, but whether you're an old fan or a new fan, you will enjoy this music. Happy listening.

This is a welcome return to the amazing sound of Bruce and the E Street Band in all their glory. The writing is amazing and the sound makes you glad to be alive. I am a long-time fan of The Boss, but it takes the whole band to create the magic. It is wonderful to hear them all together again.

Simply amazing. Bruce still has it. He proves yet again why he is the best in the business. Either you get it or you don't. And if you don't, well, too bad for you!

I think this record is great. If you were around listening to Bruce in the 70s and 80s, this reminds you of classic rock. "the boss" is a great song writer, that indeed is what he is more known for telling his stories. Enjoyed this sooo much!

This is a bold return to rock & roll for Bruce & E-Street, and this one should get them back on the airwaves. Hopefully some younger listeners will catch onto this, & perhaps discover his back catalog of greatness.

    This Is Bruce Performing Solo

I've been a Bruce fan for years and it bothers me to write a negative review on him, but this CD is below poor. I gave it a 1 star only because you have to select at least one, otherwise I would have given it no stars. Now I suppose that if you like Bruce's solo CDs then you might like this one. However, if you're like me and you like the old hard-hitting rock of Bruce and the E Street Band, don't expect it on this one. This CD is full of slow, toneless ballads. Some of the songs are almost like he's reading instead of singing. The only thing that I can do with this CD is put it in my CD Jukebox and hope it never comes up when on random play. A complete waste of money at any price.
