This mini-series takes place in Miami at the end of the 50's. Lots of cool cars and gangsters. It's pretty explicit,lots of nudity and foul language but if that dosen't bother you this may be a series you'd enjoy. I certainly did and the BD box-set is reasonably priced!

I loved this show watching it while it aired. And the picture and sound translate great to baby blu! If you are looking for a good tv show set in miami in the 50's with a little mob action to boot, Magic city is for you.

Starz decided to cancel a great show with great acting. Plot is similar to other shows around but with acting this good, it should have stayed on longer. Great period drama that will not live to see the fruits of its labor.

This show came as a surprise. It's got great writing, and the visuals are fantastic. The plot keeps you interested throughout, my only problem is that it has been canceled! Still worth a look, and it doesn't just leave you hanging at the end of the second season, it wraps up the story-line.

I like Magic City a lot.great cars,great locales,great sets and a whole lot of pretty women. This is most definitely adult fare,there's nudity and a lot of foul language. I recommend it!

I love this series! It has intrigue and suspense with multiple storylines. I love the 50's-60s Miami period with the fabulous cars and fashion. Beautiful series with mobsters and crooked politicians...great for Godfather fans!!!

I was surprised how good this series was. So underrated, but great acting and beautiful people. Not for kids, violence language and much nudity. I was wanting more in the series, only 2 seasons, a shame. Highly recommended!

Magic City is a really good original series by Starz. After two seasons, the series ended. I enjoyed it, wanted more.

A really good TV show with organized crime as a main theme. Not as good as The Sopranos, but worth a watch.

I think Magic City holds up to any gangland movie or series, even The Godfather or The Sopranos. The plot always keeps you guessing and stuns you when you're not expecting it

I like the show but there isn't a lot of episodes for a complete series. 16 total. If you don't mind a short series then pick it up otherwise look for something with more episodes.

If you into the 50s style than you would likely like this show. The storyline is quite slow, but the acting and look of it are great.
