Good for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well enough most of the time. Occasional echoes and the occasional reboot is required. But for the price, it's OK. Basic features work fine.

It's great if u don't want to pay high phone bills
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems one always has to sacrifice one thing for another. Everything works just fine. Can't punch in #s during calls. If someone is on the phone and they don't click over to answer another phone call, MJ will send an email with the audio message in it.

It really works! Bye-bye landline.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome product! I use it in my small home office. It has saved me money already based on what I was paying monthly for a landline. It can be taken with you wherever you go...all you need is an internet connection. There 's also an app that allows you to save your cell phone minutes so you can make calls with your cell using your magic jack account. I love my magic jack!! I use it for phone calls and to send faxes. My Canon Pixma (all-in-one) works fine with the magic jack.

Cheap, simple phone option
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed to put a land line back in and this was the cheap simple option. Service is just fine, easy to set up, free use for 6 months and then I'll pony up some money for a few years service. Cheaper than Vonage, which I was also happy with.

Fairly good alternative phone service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had problems with receiving and holding a call. Sometimes the phone will ring and I will answer and the other party can not hear me say hello, hello...and will hang up and call back again and the same thing happens when I make a call sometimes. It is not my internet connectivity, I'm using Time Warner Turbo. So should be the highest and fastest form of internet, at least in the United States.

Good for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All in all, the Magic Jack is worth the money. The price is so cheap compared to my monthly landline bill that I can't complain about the cell phone connection glitches we have. I'll deal with that anytime versus paying $50 a month for a phone I very rarely use.

Inexpensive land line for overseas in home use.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the MJ Plus to use during expat assignment working in China and it is doing a good job providing me inexpensive unlimited LD phone access back to the states. I would recommend it over other VOIP solutions I have tried while living and working overseas.

Before the price cover 1 year, now covers 6 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I sent 3 MJ to my family oversea. Before the initial price for e/one covered 1 year. With this one covers 6 months, and it's more expensive. Still it is easy to install, good communication and cheap that a regular phone if you have family living outside of US and you have USA long distance without restriction.

Does what it says. Love the iphone app.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for a work line and I really like it, the iphone app is great but does need a little work. Doesn't always log the calls once the app is opened.

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device works as advertised. I plugged it into my router, which requires it to be plugged into a wall outlet to power. Setup was simple and I have not experienced any issues. Quality is no different then a land line or VOIP connection. I transferred my current number, which was successfully completed in less than a week. I was paying $25 a month for a VOIP line from Comcast, now my annual costs will be ~$40 a year.

amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we purchased the Magic Jack Plus and it is wonderful! Wish we had it sooner. We kept our previous phone number from the phone company, and we have all the features. Good clarity. And we are saving lots of money with Magic Jack Plus. If you are thinking about buying one, you should right away! It is amazing! We love it!

Inexpensive but Performance & Quality about 80/100
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great as a cheap second line but be warned that it can be time-consuming to set up and the quality is not 100% and can vary greatly. There also can be a considerable delay between when a person calls and it rings (5 or more times). This IS NOT a replacement for a land land telephone and is NOT as good. You get what you pay for (so-so).
