    Tried it out, downloaded the software and everything. It was kind of confusing at first, a lot of stuff to learn, but used YouTube to help out with it and learned how to use it and make music.

    I didn't read the small print that said I had to go online to activate. I placed it on my desktop computer that is not internet ready and it of course wouldn't activate. I loaded it on my laptop temporarily to activate it and then transferred the folder to a flash drive and loaded it to my desktop downstairs where I do all my recording and have all my music. It won't work. I took it back to Best Buy but they said they couldn't refund my money because it is software, something about a federal law. Anyway I guess customer satisfaction is worth more than $59, no refund. I'm a senior citizen and I can't afford to buy anymore software. I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere from now on.

      Hi Roychris,

      yes unfortunately, the software does require an internet connection in order for it to activate and it will check once a month to make sure that the licence is valid. This has been put in place for security measures and there is no way around this, sorry.
