The Magix website says this version of acid has a 32 bit plugin bridge and vst3 compatibility. It actually does not. That was the reason I bought this version. I am happy with Sound Forge though.

I purchased this item for personal music production. I have not used all the features to date but the product seems adequate for my needs.

The sound beginner would benefit from this product as my son did. We hope he grows in the music and sound editing arena.

I wanted to get into something that could mix audio. I used Audacity for years and wanted to be able to mix more tracks. These programs have a little steeper learning curve than I expected but I am gradually "getting it." I would recommend this to a friend with the advice to commit some serious practice time before starting a project.

This is a really great product for anybody who likes to make their own music.

This is a good program. I'm a j so I use Audio Studio sometimes to make remixes or extended mixes s I can take a break while working. It features beat matching and a lot of other studio tools.

I purchased my copy of Sound Forge Audio Studio 13 (SFAS 13) produced by Magix from Best Buy and it was bundled with Acid Music Studio on a single CD, at a good price – which is why I bought it. The CD also had something on it called IZotope Ozone 8, or something like that. Basically, the software doesn’t work; in converting my vinyl albums to digital format the software adds a beep to the recording about every 5 seconds. I’ve checked with the Magix users’ forum and after reading the comments about additional plug-ins needing additional registration/activation, I installed Acid Music Studio and Ozone 8 from the CD and entered the activation codes when prompted. This was not effective – I still got the beeps. I installed the software on a second computer and I still got the same beeps. So, I went back to Best Buy expecting that the “Best” they would do would be to simply replace the product, because refunding $$ for software doesn’t happen, and that’s what they did. But this was not effective either; after installing SFAS 13 from this second CD I still get the beeps. I suppose I could keep returning the nonworking software to Best Buy over and over, but that's not really my style and I believe it would not result in a working copy of the software. I’ve used SFAS 10, originally from Sony, for several years and have been happy with it. I use only the Vinyl Recording and Restoration tool and Audio Restoration is step 3 of 7 in the process. In step 3 the user can select Audio Restoration or Peak Normalization, or both, or neither. The beeps can be seen on the graph most readily when only Audio Restoration is selected after recording with no music playing, although when I’m converting vinyl I select both Audio Restoration and Peak Normalization. Is it possible that this collaboration between Magix and Best Buy to bundle SFAS 13 with Acid Music Studio on one disk has resulted in some unfortunate interaction resulting in the beeps? I’m asking that rhetorically. I have not purchased an ‘unbundled’ copy of SFAS 13 to see if the Audio Restoration step in the Vinyl Recording and Restoration tool works without inserting beeps; I shouldn’t have to. I already paid good money for the software in good faith, fully expecting it to work for me. But it doesn’t. I’m hoping the techies at Best Buy see these comments and can then confirm that the software doesn’t work and then maybe I can either get a replacement copy of SFAS 13 that works or I can get a full refund. All I want is a working version of the software. I have a lot of vinyl remaining to be converted.

Good program to make and mix music for events or just to have for personal listening

A fun track editing for good audio expression and easy to build.

Magix is a grate tool for music, as well as video production and editing

this software is intense. It does everything you want it to do and more. I would reccamend it to anyone.
